Hello RUclips, I am Malcolm Merlyn. As most of you are aware, there are a lot of different scammers out there and these include Nigerian prince email scammers, Indian tech support scammers, IRS scammers and others. They have been around for over 10 years now and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. After getting a lot of calls, sometimes very early in the morning I have decided enough is enough. If the government won’t shut down these pests then I will.
I created some virtual machines and started calling scammers using a fake caller ID. The calls were quite hilarious so I started uploading them on RUclips; this was great as I was raising awareness about scams while also earning money. In total I have called scammers over ten thousand times in the past year and a half. I created a number of programs to annoy them including a call flooder that can call the scammers many times per minute which overloads their phones.

I would go to school JUST to learn how to do THIS. It must feel better than sex....almost.
I once shut down a call centre called GuruAid by flooding their calls and connecting them to each other. Left it running for a few days before they changed their numbers from international to domestic.
If they were really smart, they would just use Vmware or VirtualBox. No computers were harmed in making this video.

When my Grandmother passed, her husband was scammed out of $10,000. He took out a loan thinking that my Grandmother had an unknown debt. People are cruel taking advantage of the grieving.

@@peeblow9398 scammers use intimidation and threats to make them transfer money. they always say that you'll be deep in debt if u don't do this or all of your information would be hacked by "hackers in your computer" etc etc. the victims are usually old people that aren't knowledgeable with computers so thats why its very easy to make them transfer money

A big thank from an Indian on behalf of a billion good Indians. So difficult for us to be Indian nowadays.
I hate to say it, but for a lot of people here in USA, this is the most common exposure we have to India these days. A lot of people now think of India as "That scammer country."
Now, I know that not every Indian is like that, and I have met a LOT of good Indian people in real life and online, so I'm not saying that ALL Indians are bad. I'm just saying it makes a bad impression on people and makes a lot of people think bad about India. If you want to help, try to get these videos spread to as many in India as possible, so that people in India become scared to become a scammer and will try to consider making an honest living instead.
I despise bullies and scammer and I love it that people like Malcom Merlyn are taking them down. As a victim of one of these scams, it gives me so much satisfaction these SoBs are getting back what they deserve.

I love you man. I was introduced to these assholes when my elderly mother GAVE them my phone number because she was confused. I've been dealing with them ever since. 11 years.

Ron, we finally did get a new cell phone and kept her old number but only use it as the land land emergency out (911 calls and such). I've been taking care of her now for 7 years. I have the ringer off on the land line.

Sad but a true story, l was doing some construction work in a old folk building on the 5th floor was the dementia ward the password was 1234. The nurse told it to me in front of some residents later she said they can't remember it anyway. My point, these are the people the scammers are targeting just the ones with enough money to stay out of "old folks jail".

@@Lufa01 In certain situations, like "stealing"back money that was stolen from you (or someone else) in order to get it back. Or destroying their computer to prevent them from scamming others. But to do it out of spite or revenge is certainly not a good motive.

This is why I love this channel , you go step by step explaining to us how the scam works and what the scammers do once their in our computers. I struggle with computers and safety. Their are so many you tube scammer channels and alot of them don't explain to the veiwers what the scammers do once they are in our computers. You explain so much and I am greatful. When using TeamViewer, if you connect to ANYONE from India it gives you a SCAMMER WARNING (be sure you know this person personally and they are not a stranger). What does that tell you about the country's people in general? TeamViewer makes their warnings and choices very easy to understand.

There are many massive channels with much larger subs - But this channel is hands down the best! No other channel really offers genuine pay back. You get Jim Browning channel, he only exposes them , threats them with far to much respect. This channel brings the real pain, lets them feel it..
