@@OxanaCrafts And thank you for the quick response.
This is a great tutorial. Such an easy design but looks quite elegant
Thank you so much!
Nice design. I’ll post my finished pendant and tag you💜🙏
Very Nice. Thank you. I will advise others to "watch the gap"... I made mine a little too small and had to struggle to get all the wires in, but I made it work. It is quite a lovely wrap for this shape of a stone. Love your videos!
Great tip! It is a hard balance because too small of a gap makes it difficult to tuck in the wires, but too big of a gap becomes visible from the front. One thing that can be done if the last wire or two will not fit into the gab is bringing them to the front and making swirls and attaching the swirls to the frame with the thin wire.
Ola.tenho acompanhado teus videos e eles me ensinam muito. Eu ja produzo meus proprios cabochoes e estou aplicando os teus ensinamentos. Muito obrigado. Continui nessa sua força
Thank you! :)
Lovely

I really like your videos! Could you please make one with a 12mm round stone?

I was very happy to find your link through Facebook "Our wire wrapping journey beginners and beyond". This video helped me to take my basic wire wrapping skills a step further. You always use dead soft wire. My question is : Can I use half hard wire for the basket frame? Is there a difference in using half hard versus dead soft copper wire for the basket frame?
You can try with half hard wire but I find it very difficult to bend and when you do bend it, it springs back. I have used half hard before and it can be done, but just very difficult.

Great video. You are so talented.
Question: how do you prevent or fix the scratches and knicks on the copper wire from the tools?
You can buff them out with fine sandpaper
Thank you for your videos. I love your designs and instructions. I’m having trouble finding 22 or 24 gauge half round silver filled wire in the US since Riogrande no longer carries it. Would 21 gauge half round work or is it took thick?
It should work, it will just look a bit thicker. Alternatively you can use solid sterling silver, since it is a thin wire getting 24 gauge sterling slight not be much more expensive than 21 gauge filled, also since it will be solid you will not have to worry about the layer of silver ever getting worn off of it.
Do you have a video that strictly goes over how to make different bale's? I still struggle with them 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️😁
I have this video series where it starts by making a frame for the stone, but then there are different videos for different bale endings: ruclips.net/video/zb9j0zCYkOg/видео.html
@@OxanaCrafts thanks so much!
I am just starting out. I cut the wire off the spool but it never seems flat. Same thing with the half round. It seems like I get kinks in it easily. Uggghhh
try using a cloth to straighten it before you cut it off spool
