A couple percussion moments from Strauss's Rosenkavalier Suite, including the tricky timpani excerpt. Recorded in the percussion dungeon at Temple University.
god those flams at the beginning were impeccable is there any reason for playing it like flams despite being notated as plain eights tho? im a beginner
Thank you! The music is a bit cut off at the beginning, but the notation with stems both up and down is an archaic way of writing flams - you'll find the same notation in a lot of ravel's music
Splendid work!
