2 months in & yes the hair loss terrified me, I go back to my Dermatologist in December to discuss my results. Also, this can cause headaches, little weight gain or a faster heartbeat…
Did you used tropical or oral minoxidil?
Yes, known side effects
Did you go for ur follow up?
@@SouruPersona it’s a topical, liquid not foam
@@amorales015 yes I have to use Ketoconazole 3x a week along with the minoxidil
I use Rogaine and have the best way to apply - through trial and error - buy a metal demitasse cup and saucer and keep t in the freezer. When you take it out to apply the Minoxidil, put the plastic can cap inside the cup. When you spray the foam, it will blow up higher in the cap and you will find the very last of the foam will be as firm as the first. Easy and 100 percent of the time, the foam will stay firm and if you're like me, you'll use less to cover your target areas.
I’m confused what’s the point of doing all that? Because you save product? I’m seriously curious???? Please help 😂
@@LoveYourselfFirst888 the Minoxidil turns to liquid pretty fast so when you put the plastic cap inside the metal demitasse cup, the cap stays cool and the Minoxidil remains a foam. This means you have time to use the foam wherever you want as opposed to taking the liquid from the bottom of the plastic cap and pouring it over your head!
No, this does NOT treat male pattern hair loss even if you use it long enough. Your hair follicles will still miniturize due to the DHT. That is what I use topical finasteride for at a 0,01 dilution (1ml).
Is it effective????
I have been taken Fin for about two years, of course i am over in my 50's, wish I would have started earlier, and I have no sides from it whatsoever. I think I will try to add this along with it.
For men it's more complicated. If the hairs are gone they're gone. You need to treat it when you start to notice you lose them
@@clairev786?

You said all that and still did not explain anything.
My hair started shedding significantly after a very stressful time in my life. Consequently, I myself researched the net and opted to test a hair oil called litttleextra coocoonion & a comb made of neem wood. It really definitely worked. At present, I have long, dense, dark hair that has grown down to my waist and trimmed on three occasions since I began using it. Easy and effective. Additionally, just as effective can be massaging the scalp - it encourages hair growth. You just must do this once a week. Before long, you'll see new hair starting to grow.
Where did you buy it from?
Sounds like an ad
Following using Cocoonniion hair shampoo over a week or so, this product began to show superior outcomes in comparison to all other shampoo cleansers. Now, I have zero hair fall problems and the smell seems very nice and my hair is developing steadily but it’s certainly effective.
Go away, bot. 🙄😑
Go away, bot.
Tret and ketoconizol? Longer video, please?
Why are products sold separately for men and women when it's the same product?
It’s not the same product. The level of required active ingredient is higher for men.
Because with 2% minoxidil or higher you are more likely to get facial hair growth which most women don't want...
Was considering using this but was uncertain how to properly use it. Must I use anti-dandruff shampoo throughout my hair or only the areas where I apply the minoxidil, such as my temples?
Carlos does not fall into the category of dermatologist geniuse
It's definitely helped me, takes a very long time though.
How long did it take you? I'm wanting to start this for my hair loss
@@JT-in4dzit doesn't take long to notice results if u use 5% but if you really want those bushy eyebrows look then it's going to take around 6 or a few more months
Have you been using it on hair scalp or directly on your eyebrows? Ive read that the hair grows everywhere else on the body even places where it never grew .. have you experienced any side effects?
@@pearlinperil9985Hey, I’ve been using minoxidil on my eyebrows since July 27th 2023 and it made them thicker the first month. But now it’s not as full as it was.
@@Em-dt6sq it doesn't go everywhere if you apply carefully and don't overapply it can however lead to more than usual facial hair growth like on your forehead and the unibrow area but nothing a face razor can't fix. If you are asking whether it is going to give ridiculous amount of beard growth then no lol
So use tretinoin for daily every night then layering it with minoxidil afterwards?
Thank you 😊
You’re reply will be really appreciated plz..
I am using minoxidil since 4month can’t see much results and hair fall is still bad.. shall i keep using it , and wait for a bit or i should stop??? Plz reply if possible…
Thanks
Get your iron levels checked ! Iron deficiency could be one of your leading causes, it’s one of the main symptoms !
You may be a non responder, it's not unusual..usually in those cases oral minox is recommended, or topical finasteride if you have AGA
I'm a woman and have just noticed thinning slightly still have loads of hair , if I start using this now what are my chances of growing back the hair that's thinned or at least keep the rest of the hair I have, my temple is gone I put it down to postpartum hairloss but it didn't come back 😢 should I get transplant straight away or use minoxidl for a year first as my temples always been thin yet it fully grew in during pregnancy so the hair there has recently showed it can grow in
Have you tried rosemary oil yet? The thing with rogaine is that you can't stop using once you start growing back hair because once you stop you'll lose all the hair you've grown back so it's a life long commitment.
That's sad !
How is your condition now!!?
Ok I freaking👏🏾 love👏🏾 this 👏🏾
Thank you for explaining it!
Here’s what I do for my hair growth: I start my day with yoga. For breakfast, I have eggs, almonds, and idlis. When I return back from work, I gently massage my hair. At night, I put on a few drops of liitllexttra reactivaate serum to my hair. Just following these things has given me good hair growth.
Several friends of mine are using the reactivate serum these days, and a good number of them have said that it is benefiting them in hair growth and hair fall control.
Hi, what about any side effects such as chest pains and heart palpitations?
Been using it for over a year haven’t really had anything guess it depends on the person but it’s best to combine it with finestride I don’t really see much results just using it on my own but im scared to take fin
Also causes increases blood pressure
Just an fyi for anyone using it on their eyebrows, it does work. However stop using it a week before tinting your eyebrows or they will turn green.. ask me how I know🥲
2 percent minox recommended for pregnant women. 5 percent might spike their blood pressure a bit much.
I was getting faster heart rate with 5%
(Male)
Do you think 2% would be working for me and be safer?
Thank you
@@Chris-nr3md
Better you consulted a healthcare provider if you notice faster heartrates. 2% will obviousliy reduce the chances of that happening, but the tradeoff is it won't be as effective in forcing your hair toward the regrowth phase.
@@Flashback_Jack thank you Jack . I appreciate your respond
Oh wow so apparently I was suggested to use minoxidil 5, I used it for almost a year now and after a year i can see little brown baby hairs on my hairline yet i can't really see anything on my receeded area when I said this to the dermatologist he suggested me Tacrolimus ointment which is for AA not AGA!? I mean my scalp does remain red for the most part but only under microscope.
can I use it for hypothyroid hair fall and bald area and hair thinning
Yes
its not most effective treatment for treating hair loss. Its only a stimulant it might help make your hair diameter thicker but thats all. You will still loose hair if you dont use DHT blocker like finasteride or dutasteride.
Depends what the cause of the hair loss not everyone will need a dht blocker
@@yanimiller5856 true but for most of the cases its DHT. Ofcourse you could have autoimmune deasise, but its much less likely.
Including hair growth on the nose and ears
Is it ok to use if I don’t have hair loss? My hair is naturally thinner and I want to grow it longer and thicker should I use it? Im also trying to get thicker eyebrows
Are we just going to ignore the starting 0.01 sec of the video?😅
What's there?
Can minoxidil be applied only on the hairline?? Or it should be applied on the whole scalp?? I’m loosing my hairline 😢
As a guy, what shampoo should I avoid?
So I can just use my tretinoin for acne on my scalp?
I’m shedding for a second time after 1 year. Is this normal? Thx
You stopped using?
How many times should i use it per week ?
So gorgeous
Will it cause me, a woman, unwanted facial hair growth?
only if you apply it to your face. minoxidil can "activate"/help the hairfollicles you apply it to. unless you would consistently apply minoxidil to the "beard area" for months, you will not grow unwanted facial hair
What about if you are a cat owner? How dangerous is minoxidil to cats if they don’t come into direct contact with it but may come into contact with a hood that was on your head when you had minoxidil on your head?
How soon after my last chemo infusion can I start using this?
❤️❤️❤️
I have been consistently using it for about 4 months now and my hair just doesn’t want to stop falling, it’s getting worse and worse and don’t know what to do anymore 😢
During the initial phase, there will be shedding which will reduce overtime
Hows the result now? Are uh still using it??
You need to go to a doctor to find out why you were losing hair in the 1st place. It could be hormonal or nutritional related.
Ma'am May I use it on thin sparsh Brows for growth?
%2 is for dogs and cats?
😂😂😂😂😂
If I wanted to try it for my eyebrows would the foam be better like the video said? How would you apply the foam to your eyebrows?
If you use a clean spoolie (the brush that comes with mascara) or Q-Tip, it's easy to apply. Hope that helps!
Same advice by my doctor
Ok people say that washing mu hair everyday is bad especially when I have alopecia so Ive been using the foam rogain and im supposed to put it on everyday so can I even if I had not washed off the rogain from nit before
does discontinuing minoxidal make you lose the hair that you have gained after using it?
Yes you will eventually lose it. You have to continue using minoxidil after you start if you want to keep the results.
Dunno why I’m here but…
What does the 2% work best for?
They/thems????
My god
Eyebrow? On the Rogaine bottle it says you should not use it on the face, but because you said it, I'll try it 😂
I’ve been using it on my eyebrows 😁🤞🏻
Omg
Men use it on the beard

Can girls take pills minoxidil for hair growth
How do you apply tretinoin (which comes as a relatively thick cream) together with minoxidil solution simultaneously?
A dermatologist Can prescribe one cream that contains both ingredients. Mine did.
@@englishwithaltini Oh wow! Thank you!
I say wash your face first then apply tretinion, let face dry then use monoxidil since face will be dry enough for it
@@1017KitchenBoy Hi! Thanks for your reply. I was wondering how you apply both to the scalp (as opposed to the face).it seems as though tretinoin would be too thick for the scalp.
@@davidsotir4318 use a dermaroll to penetrate the scalp, and if you’re willing to rock a buzz cut throughout the process do it
You forget to mention if you start taking it you have to keep taking it or else you lose more than you had already when you started
Myth.
Bro got his information from John from next street…my g its a myth do some research
I wanna stop it after 2 months I loose hair on the back of my head even though I only use it on my hairline
Is it best to use when you shave your head or letting it grow out ?
bro use finasteride, minoxidil will not stop hairs from falling out it will only make the diameter little bit bigger in best case scenario.
go to real trihologist and ask for finasteride
you cannot trust these online doctors, they are scmaers or worse genuinly dont know what they are talking about
Can I use minoxidil and regain together
They both have minoxidil , rogaine is more money both work the same
If we stop using it , what happens?
very likely you will end up even more bald that is why you have to keep on using it for a very long time. I use Ducray Neoptide expert I do see some results but will try monoxidl next
How to order
Hi i got allergy from minox, is there other compound that can contribute to facial hair growth?
Diluted rosemary oil
@@myphone9831yes I rub this rosemary oils into my beard 👌🏽
Does it help with traction alopecia
yep it might help, but as you know the main cause is your hairstyle choice. To avoid it you should probably choose a hairstyle that doesnt pull hair alot. Also i recommend going to real doctor and not listening to tictok doctors. Trihologist will diagnose you what kind of alopecia you really have and weather or not to use finasteride.
Gonna talk about the FACIAL BLOATING side effect orrr???
I have to know, what happens when you miss a dose? Does your hair fall out? I was told to start using this but havnt yet because I’m scared to see what happens if I go camping and can’t take a dose for some reason. Also my whole body has this plaque. My feet look like lizard feet and everything I do doesn’t help. I’m just turning into a lizard over time. I use vanicream on the daily and It helps, but still plaque everywhere. I sparkle in the sun! 😢
Nothing will happen. Also studies show that 2mls of minoxidil is effective, that’s why you’re supposed to take it twice a day, but you can actually take both doses at the same time
Wao, thank you very mucho..🫠🫠🫠
There's multiple brands selling this, are there any ways to identify if some brand selling this is sketchy? Like some unnecessary or harmful chemicals added in the solution?
bro you are asking ytb shorts doctor how to avoid scammers xdddd. Pick the one which is the most cheap, but buy 5% strenght. And i recommend going to real trihologist because minoxidil will not stop hair loss it is only a stimulant, only finasteride or dutasteride could stop it.
