I came across this video because I wanted to give this style a try. I did and love the end results, but it took me over 6 hours (hair is on my behind 🤦🏽♀️) and laud I was tired!!! I will not do it again any time soon😊

This is smart and the results are gorgeous! I never thought about using pipe cleaners to curl my hair. I actually went out and bought perming rods before seeing this video.
I'm a loose natural with 2 strand twists but I'm going to put some of these in my hair and leave it because the humidity where i live is crazy. Thanks for this

I love it! I locs are 1 year old and they are the length of yours with the pipe cleaners in. I've never cared about length because I have healthy hair so imma do, I have thick locs though, so I hope they curl well.

I don’t spray my hair with anything but water. I don’t sit under the dryer I let it air dry (I don’t use heat on my locs)

Thank you yes your curls are amazing. Can anyone speak to the discomfort related to sleeping in the pipe cleaners. It’s very uncomfortable unless I am doing something incorrect. The scalp & neck sticking is 😩

@@IamMelaninMarie thank you for responding! I've been leaving them in for 3-5 days, and the curls last for at least a week as long as I keep them wrapped at night. Also, I don't get flack from TSA at the airport with pipe cleaners in my hair, unlike my foam rollers, so this video was a lifesaver.

To be honest you could even wear the pipe cleaners as a hairstyle that's how nice it looked on you. Make it like you fake cut your hair lol that would be a good joke on friends
