It's actually the Muppets from Space bridge set from the Muppet Show, but I tried my best to make the angles look like the STIII Bird of Prey. I'm glad it worked out.

these were great to watch. enjoyed re-listening to Trek II and III (first time since maybe 30 years ago when I had those two Read Along tape/books along with the Raiders one) and TMP and IV for first time (didn't even know theyd done one for IV).
I always thought what Kirk was wearing in Star Trek 3 and 4 was a futuristic version of his civilian clothes that just happened to have the same color as the Starfleet uniforms. No one else wears it and it doesn't show any rank pin on the color or cuffs. I would've given him the same uniform on the Bounty throughout, but I don't have that size action figure to match when he's talking to Scotty in his black vest.
In a three month span, Enterprise was destroyed and Enterprise-A was commissioned? Didn't Enterprise-A have a previous name, but it was changed gratitude for Kirk and the crew saving Earth?
Enterprise A was originally the U.S.S. Yorktown, NCC- 1704 ( 1717) Earlier in the film, we see Admiral Cartwright communicating with the ship after she was disabled by the whale probe. That explains it's poor condition in Star Trek 5. Also, this explains the ships appearance as the Enterprise at the end of the movie. Star Fleet needed a new Enterprise so the name change, besides it was the only refit in town at the time. 2286- 2293 , Enterprise -A.
How can I get the set to do my own Little Star Trek movie with Playmate figures backdrops anyway you did it can you please let me know how I can get those backdrops figures on a problem I need backdrops and Bridge settings
Nice substitute though. Too bad they never made a Gillian or David Marcus figure for that matter. Having a David figure would have helped for The Search for Spock film you did.
