Hello from Harlingen, Texas Good job Mathew. I like your watercolors very much. Eric you are doing a good job of finding such excellent artists for us. Thank you.
Hi from Massachusetts. Loved Matthew’s use of varnish instead of glass; really helps to finish the painting. Appreciated Erik’s message to stay positive, encouraging us that we will get through this together. Such an incredible, encouraging message! So helpful to hear these words and watch these fantastic artists!
Wendy, Saginaw Michigan I have a great respect for Matthews talent. Patience and control...as this technique requires, is something I constantly have to work on. He makes it look easy.... much admiration!
Great information ! I didn’t know you could varnish watercolor paintings to preserve them. Thank you The distilled water to reconstitute the palette paint was a great suggestion especially in a humid climate . Types of binders used in paints is important as well. WOULD. using a easy release spray glue or medium work to adhere watercolor paper to a firm surface before painting?? PA USA

The distilled water has something to do with the minerals in non-distilled water that have an effect on the paint.
