    This may be one of the coolest Sinns I've seen. I love watches on leather cuffs, and this Sinn just fits.

    Didn't know Sinn before but i ordered this Sinn 856 B-Uhr after watching this video.
    Got it directly from the factory and the buying experience with Sinn was amazing!
    So happy that i'm one of the 856 owners and this will not be my last purchase from them.

    My favourite Sinn watch. Bund strap too large for my wrist size, I alternate between Sinn tegimented bracelet and a tan Hirsch James Performance strap.

    Sinn's website shows this watch with the number of the limited editon on the back like (350/856) but yours does not have that. Any thoughts on this? Great watch!

    I think the nicest part of this watch is the bund strap.

    I'd be very surprised if that case isn't manufactured by Damasko. Exactly the same hardened steel and exactly same dimensions as the DA36

    • @spa2damax
      @spa2damax Год назад

      Damasko iterated off of Sinn. Not exact copy, some differences here and there. They have nothing to do with Sinn and are really a cheaper alternative. Sinn materials and QC are excellent

    • @2791dles
      @2791dles Год назад

      @@spa2damax it is well documented that Damasko were manufacturing Sinn's hardened steel cases. It's not hidden.

    • @spa2damax
      @spa2damax Год назад

      @@2791dles were. They aren't now and in fact their hardened case is a different treatment which hardens the entire mass of steel, whereas tegimenting hardens the surface

  • @MrVitamincpp
    @MrVitamincpp 8 лет назад +4

    It is twice as expensive as a B-Uhr by Laco, which has more history and is so much closer to the original.

    • @2791dles
      @2791dles 8 лет назад +4

      It's a modern pilot watch. The cost is in the technology especially the hardened steel.

    • @TraptbyBenjamin
      @TraptbyBenjamin 7 лет назад +8

      The larger price tag comes from features like the hardened steel, the atmospheric capsule, grade of movement, etc. Sinn puts a lot of work into the watch that isn't apparent at a cursory glance.

      I know, I know, but strangely lately I love my cheapest watch the most. That Vostok Neptune does not come off my wrist and all expensive watches stay in the box :)

    Everyone is finding a way to screw over the consumer by making them pay more to have work done at an authorized retailer. It sucks.
    Car manufacturers, electronics manufacturers, and now watches? I think it's kind of crappy and I'd rather go without the "moisture control". It'll make things easier down the road when it's time for a service.

    • @11shore2
      @11shore2 6 лет назад

      planejet42 I Agree. The moisture control is something that would keep me from buying it. Nice thing to have but I don't want to be bothered with this. Maybe if they replaced it for free.

    • @cjwest9094
      @cjwest9094 2 года назад

      Lol I'm 5 years late here but you don't need to replace the moisture capsule if you don't want to, get a standard service like any other watch when the warranty expires.
