I played this game for hours at a time.. awesome game, i always played as Ken,, using the invincible punch... shoryuken...dragon punch...best used against blanka when he do a flying rolling attack... what a great game,, brings a tear to my eye... played it 1991 ,,, 1992 time i think...
The way you played against Blanka was a very fine example on how to control space. Hit him with the fireball so he has to jump you, then hit him with a foot sweep when he tries to hit you after jumping, really good play.
what is there an interview going on. lol Great job beating the game with all perfects. I saw a few of your other videos as well, keep them coming man they are excellent.
It really looks like you've got the medium level, 'cos Chun Li usually uses the spin bird kick move when she's almost dying. Vega uses his flying barcelona atack when his energy is low. And there are some other moves that other characters do, that i don't recall right now. But that was a great demonstration from a very good SFII player, i have to agree.
Best and favourite Street Fighter is Super Street Fighter II X/Turbo, then it's Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, and Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 3. Simply each of those games have been refined and tested due to earlier revisions.
Shin Shoryuken is my favourite move with Ryu, highest combo probably in Zero3, involving many hurricane kicks and redizzies, 30+ I can't remember fully.
I know where some here are coming from. Its a whole different ball game when you play against human players. Heck, I played this game so many times, I learned ever single cpu reaction to my actions. Not only I get perfectls like in this vid, I like to poke fun at the cpu. Like never hitting Chung-Li, or killing Sagat with only 4 punches. In fact, sometimes for a higher challenge, I got to easier settings so I get a different reaction pattern..
I personally like Ryu the most so my order is Ryu, Ken, then Akuma. However who I think is better gameplay wise depends on the street fighter in question.
I believe that you made this on the hardest level, because this is a fliperama game. I tried do do this on capcom collection of PS2 in the hardest mode and it's impossible to do all this tricks the cpu reacts in a different way when you do the moves.
Wow, this really rocks.. I gotta ask you though, how do you do your uppercut SO consistantly? Do you have a macro that does it? If not, what controller do you use? I use a 360 controller and I can do the uppercut maybe 50% of the time I try.

Nah...the computer falls for all those tricks even on the highest difficulty level. What makes it hard is the handicapp is higher for the computer than it is for the player when the level is raised. Guile always fell for the short shoryuken, bladekick, retaliate pattern until Super Street Fighter 2 came out.
its not on easy the AI just had specific patterns back then, and he obv knows them. like bison if you keep using srk he goes block, psycho crusher, block, walk forward, block, psycho crusher as shown in the vid

Just the newbies that have never played SFII can say that you're a cheater. I've known so many people who can do something like this in this game with all characters. But, maybe if you want that everybody believes it, you should have recorded it from the beggining and even showed the change of level difficulty and the ending, 'cos, if i remember, there is a different ending when you win by perfect all the fights.
DAmmit! Last night I watched an amazing perfect run with Ken in Super Street Fighter 2, now I have no fucking idea where it is!!!! It's not user Raks, his is nothing compared to the one I saw. It too was a tool assisted run except Ken was doing godly pro ass combos constantly. It was so impressive. I should have faved it but I didn't because I was really tired. Can anyone help me find it?
The problem here and about new or semi new players is that they don't realize that we are watching a video of a game from the early 90's, so yeah, the AI is diferent, new games have more AI, and still new fighting games have more obvious patterns, they usually don't change with every character, which is different from the sf2, you need to memorize each char pattern with each character you use... =/ Or at least try to kill Balrog with chun li like u do with ken, then tell me.

Ken's special whirling kick move (whatever its called) hits multiple times so its alittle stronger.
Rounds 1&2 started the exact same way against sagat, but notice in round 2 he was not dizzy after the second hit.

@A1Major - We don't see you choose the difficulty and just like with Ryu, there's no real skill to fighting M Bison.
