    Simple nursing needs to be its own university because y’all are doing alot better than most nursing school. These nursing schools hire bitter old people who want a check. I’m teaching myself and yet I have to drive 45 min to and from school just for attendance 🙃

    Hi mike... Today I have read in Archer that we should first clean the insertion site and then apply the tourniquet.. which is correct ?

    • @SimpleNursing
      @SimpleNursing  7 месяцев назад

      Always check with your hospital policy, but at SimpleNursing we apply the tourniquet and then clean after to reduce the risk of contamination prior to insertion. ❤️

    do we need to flush an IV for a one time use? For example, an IV drip, 45 mins and then you take it off. Do I have to flush the line before administering the fluids?

    Hey Mike, I notice there's a slight difference on the intervention for both infliltration and extravasation in my ati nclex review book. You started to apply warm compress but the ati book stated to apply cold compress. I am confuse now, is it ok to use either way?

    • @grnhamandeggs
