- I take a look at the Cloud X training shoe from #OnRunning. Can you use this for the #CrossFit WOD? That's what we talk about - we compare side by side with the #Nike Metcon 6, Nike Free Metcon 3, Nike Pegasus 37 Running shoe - and more.
Now Nov 2022 , I had my first pair Cloud X (since Jan 2021), and am very satisficed with them. Performed over seven 5k runs, over eight 1.5 mile runs for times. No problems great support and protection. I went to purchase more at local shoe store, currently out of stock , but purchased two pair of Cloudstratus.
Good review but the only shoe that is optimal for CrossFit is a shoe that completely prevents you from doing CrossFit

Just bought these today, they feel really good on foot!
I will always go for some form of cushion if you’re not power lifting/doing competitions. I do HIIT in Nike Reacts including squatting and deadlifting and I have never had any complaint besides side stepping. Don’t let “not for heavy weight lifting” deter you from this shoe. It’s more stable than a Pegasus or React for working out and has enough cushion for a decent run. If you need one shoe I think this will do it. Home in on your lifting form in a cushioned shoe for an all around work out and thank yourself later.

I want some good training gym shoe. Been looking at these for a while now .... great video thanks I like the wide look. I had some 910v2. New balance. But they not make them no more
I do own cloud flow. Can this pair for running 5km to 10km runs outdoor?
Thanks for addressing the flexibility. I can't seem to find a pair of shoes that are flexible, have SOME cushion, and have good traction, but these may fit the bill. Great video

OMG Those shots of your show squeaking is hilarious... I'm rethinking of getting one. My nike gym shoes squeaks the first time I got it.. And everybody at work told me to put some powder to get it out. It took awhile and squeaking is gone.
I bought these and had to take them back to the store. These shoes help me to relize that my left feet is bigger my right feet is wider and these shoes are absolutely uncomfortable because aren't have any cusion inside, except at the bottom. Otherwice, who has good feet, these shoes are very comfortable and it's good to walk in them!
Are these good for 3 mile runs and doing a mile run in a 20 pound vest up hill run?

Hello, I was wondering if you know of the difference between the Classic Cloud X vs the New Generation Cloud X ? I mainly looking for training shoes for the gym with some time going for short runs and hikes (2-3 times a month). Which one would you suggest getting?
Hi - unfortunately, I don't own the previous generation of Cloud X so I don't know the differences. Sorry!
The older generation did not come with a Helion midsole, and wasn’t as wide in the toe box.

I just bought the classic cloud x on the site for $99 and I love it. Ran 3.5 miles on treadmill with them and were so supportive and cushioned. I also did weights after. Zero issues.
What shoes do you recommend for barbell work or heavy kettle bells?

Honestly if that's all you are doing I'd recommend you find a good running shoe shop and get a gait analysis done, etc.

Yes, the width is great. It is NOT tight for me in width. Feels roomier in that regard than most of my Nike running shoes.
What did you by short run? Like 10km or more like 5km?
