      I’d say he is already the greatest sleeved lifter of all time. He’s ranked 1 in 275 and 308 and rank 2(or 3) in 242 in sleeves. His 308 record was at like 280lbs body weight. Hard to argue against him for GOAT status in sleeves.

    “It’s all because of steroids”. I know 100 guys that train at the gym who can’t lift shit who are on the gear. It’s a help. Not a remedy for shitty work ethic or bad genes.

      Will L I know. I have friends at my high school that can bench more than most guys who are taking PEDs. I’m aiming for at least a 500lb conventional deadlift before I turn 18. Not sure if Ill break 600 with sumo or not. My noob gains never really wore off as quickly as everyone else’s do that helped me slingshot past 405. It’s in the genes, the training, and the food you eat.

      My Training partner many years ago took a ton of steroids, his diet was o point over months and I was natty all the time. Nevertheless I was much stronger and build more muscles than him. Genetics is a huge factor

      This. I've basically got a cult of steroid users at my gym. They come along, have never trained in their lives, train shitty for two weeks, then decide they need to start juicing.
      And it doesn't make them big, or strong. Bigger and stronger than they otherwise would've been, but still not even near their own natural limit.
      So while steroids can be massively beneficial, they're not some magic wand you can just wave to get where you wanna be.

    Larry, I watched you since your early days. I was amazed by all your lifts since day one. You are an all around pound for pound one of the strongest and most intense lifters I ever saw. I was addicted and continue to follow you all the time. You are the Mike Tyson of Powerlifting in my opinion. You motivate me when you lift. Larry, you are my number# 1 fan for life!! Just to let you know, I have been training serious since the age of 19 years old and now I am 55 years old. Not too many lifters impress me as much as you have. God Bless you!       At these weights 5 kg even 2.5kg can be the difference of being able lift a certain weight and then not being able to lift off the ground at all. Bearing in mind deadlifting is only one of the many events in strongman. I'm not saying it isn't doable anything is possible but even some of the world's greatest strongmen just couldn't pull 500 it's inhuman.

      His goal is to lift as much weight possible. That can require sacrifice in form, but he is willing to take that risk

      I’m no expert but I think there is a type of back position that is somewhat more rounded and is completely safe still. It’s all preference. With that being said, I think keeping a neutral position is a great way to learn because a rounded lower back can be so dangerous

Now not gonna say that you can do it naturally cauuse 90% sure you probably wont but i believe theres guys out there that can take PED's and do what larry can. Not in like a whole year but somebodys whos been doinn it for a handful of years, yeah.
