Plaxtol was the home of my grandparents and family. They owned Barham the butchers at the top of the high street. How it’s changed. But always for me it’s special as my parents are buried there. Thank you the precious video both of you. 🤗

      Tim,
Glad to hear it brings back memories; It's a beautiful little village, like so many in Kent.
Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment
      Take care,

We knew part of the series was filmed there, but we didn't know when. We were just out on a bright day plotting our route. That episode is yet to air, I suspect the new series will arrive in the autumn - it's a Sunday night, feel good program. It was great to stumble across though 😍

I love these two videos, in the second part you skirt around the outside of the village of Hadlow where I grew up. After more than thirty years in Sydney Australia, it's great to check the area out again. Keep up the good work showcasing the beautiful Kent countryside.

      Hi Bill,
I'm glad we took you on a little trip down memory lane, but now you've got me thinking of the next road trip we can create to include Hadlow (and the Hadlow Tower), possibly a bit of Tonbridge, Sevenoaks & Borough Green - who knows (but winter is creeping up upon us)
      All the very best,
      Gary & Janis

Hey Bill, no problem - it probably won't be until early 2024, a nice sunny winter's day after Christmas, but watch this space. Now we have a ton of Spanish content to create - happy days.
      All the best

Bill, sounds like a plan - Noted, and added to my list of MyMaps routes.
Cheers, and have a great week.

      Hi,
I know, and it was kind of deliberate. This trip was designed to take you back in time a little bit, maybe a bit of Darling Buds of May, and Borough Green is a little more mixed.
Maybe one for next time when we can loop in Seal & Sevenoaks on an A25 adventure to Oxted? Who knows?
Anyway, glad you like what we put together.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.
      All the best,
      Gary & Janis

Thanks again, I’ll have to check them out when we are back home to see if we can find out a bit more about them.
      Thanks again,
