      Hi Volker,
Thank you, I am glad you like them. Perhaps you may return one day. It's best in the summer; the world looks a little better in the sunshine.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by an leave a comment.

Great video and an inspiring route - would love to do this summer but those potholes.. are the roads all as disgracefully bad?

Paul, sad truth is a lot of roads are like this some worse.
Those responsible should hand their head in shame, but they don't just offload the blame.
Anyway, enough negativity, it's still worth it - lots to see and do on the way. The observant will always notice a pub or two - just need to negotiate the designated driver!
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment,
      All the best,
      Gary & Janis

    You recommend what survey map?

      Steve,
It's the Ordnance Survey map app.
      Pop this into a browser - bit.ly/3BYfLjy
There's a free version, but that doesn't include the OS Explorer and OS Landranger maps. It's a great little tool. You can go for a monthly subscription to try it out.
Personally, I wouldn't be without it when exploring the countryside.
      Hope that's of help,
      All the best,
      Gary & Janis

@@OurWorldForYou Thanks for the reply, I really couldn't make out what you said. I'll give that a try...always looking for green lanes and tracks to use as back doubles...the traffic is horrendous here in SE London/ Kent and I ebike now, at 59 and realise I'm not immortal anymore...the S on my chest has disappeared, so avoiding roads wherever I can is a must. Atb Steve

      Steve,
Sorry about that, must have been a bit mubbly.
I'm 57, and I realised those immortal days are over (the groans I occasionally make after cleaning the car are the clue!
The free version of the app, with the standard mapping allows you to toggle on the National Cycle Network, but the Premium version does give you much more.
It sounds like a wise decision to aim to avoid the roads of SE London. When we lived in Dartford, I used to take a leisure route along the River Darent. This route led me to Farningham and The Lion pub, all very nice on a sunny evening.
      All the best,
      Gary (& Janis)
