Think both teams will feel they could have grabbed a winner if the ball had fallen for them, but a draw was a fair result. The forwards kept looking to make runs in behind but the defence and midfield either didn’t see the runs or weren’t wanting to drop it over the top. Too many crosses were floated and didn’t give anyone a chance to get the ball back on target. Thought Wharton looked good coming forward with the ball, there just didn’t seem to be many options on for him or players making a run. Both teams were sloppy but our passing did play us into trouble a couple of times. Hedges needed to come off 5/10 minutes earlier and we should have gone Markanday on the right to have pace on both wings. Telalovic looked weak in comparison to Gallagher (not that he showed much prowess either) but he won’t be able to show anything with only five minutes again. Great away following though, those in attendance really made some noise and got behind the boys… I don’t care about Venkys, they don’t care about me. All I care about is BRFC! 🔵⚪️🌹
