Hi! Quick question please! The locking ring? Did you have to prise the little tabs upwards and the pump housing lifts straight up? Or does the ring need to be tapped around a little? Not sure if there’s any kind of thread there?

Hard starting. I also replaced the high pressure pump and then the battery.

Just tap it around.
Mark the rings before unloosing.
Lift pump out. It will be connected to the fuel hosed from the tank
