Retrieved from an old VHS tape, shown here in NZ. Nick Lowe played Auckland a couple of months ago and was superb. His band wasn't great (apart from the keyboard player) but Lowe himself was mesmerising. Post-Bowie, the best British songwriter of modern times bar none, hands down...

It was a show called Songwriters Circle ...this episode featured Nick Lowe , Jimmy Webb and Chip Taylor ....fabulous .. seen it , dont have it.
