Episode 13 really showed the female lead’s true character. Ha Ni’s character alone is why Naughty Kiss is the best K- Drama I can identify with. Prior to Ep.13,Ha Ni kept hope alive by continually pursuing Seung Jo. However, after she learned he was dating and would possibly marry Ha Rae, she never followed him again. Instead, she respected the fact that he was in a relationship and suffered in silence. Her dream of marrying Seung Jo was shattered instantly. Ha Ni conveyed her emotions so well without uttering a word. You could see the pain she endured in her expressions. Whenever she saw Seung Jo and Har Ra together, she kept her composure, but he knew from the look in her eyes just how devastated she was. She loved him desperately and he was well aware of that. However, she was mature enough to accept she had lost him and simply tried to move on.

Seung jo and Hani are perfect for each other. They complements each other. He is cold and distant and have trouble expressing his true emotions, while she's bubbly and positive. Sometimes the person who has the same qualities and interests as you, doesn't necessarily mean that they are right for you. Like Seung Jo and Hae Rae they are literally the same, good at everything but that doesn't mean that she is the right person for him. He needs someone who would bring out the good qualities in him, rather than living his life the same without any change. Ha Ni lacks in alot of things but she works hard and is always positive. She need someone who can motivate her and give her a purpose in life. Although she was hung up on Seung Jo and he basically was her reason to do things, it lead her to live a life that had purpose. Seung Jo treated Ha Ni badly but he cared for her and was hard on her. But he understood her better than anyone and knew what she needed to succeed in life. After he got to know her, he never stopped her from loving him, because he knew that she did her best when she had something that motivated her, and he knew that he was her motivation. He just too stubborn to admit that he loved her since she was completely different than him, and I guess he just never expected to like someone like her. I never liked his pride and how he always looked down on people. And he was also stupid as well. He knew everything except how to be true to himself. He would hurt her, then feel bad about it, then hurt her again. I think its because she was always with him, that's why he never put any effort. He just too confident that she would never love anyone but him. And the moment he realized that he could lose her, that's when he decided to react. He needs her more than she needed him anyway. She gave him purpose, he chose to be a doctor because she told him he could. He went to same university with her because he enjoyed being around her. Also, Ha Ni is impulsive and doesn't always think things through and he is literally the only one who would knock some sense into her As long as he stop being like a man who is always on his period, he is actually the perfect guy. They both gave each other a purpose in life.

And this two kids came from protected families and also their parents were very good friends.big helped for seung go his parents badly wanted hani's to be their daughter inlaw he realised that hani's the real deal for him. The mother is the real for both of them. Because with out mothers wisdom advice he would in up! with rival girls. It's so frustrating how Kim HyunJoong career who was in same level as Lee Minho was ruined because of private life and because of ex gf who lied about him. Kim HyunJoong was the only kpop idol actor who was huge both as idol and actor. Even if his ex gf was jailed damage was already done so even if he came back after many years he can't have the same popularity like before. Many Korean producers have stop casting him. I'm more frustrated because I was in college back then when this happen when I was so into Kim Hyunjung and argued with every single haters now when I'm so into Kim Seonho he face the same thing and I'm doing the same thing all over again. Atleast Kim Seonho is coming back in few months. Producers need to cast Kim HyunJoong along with A list actress. They've lost such a great actor. I really want Kim HyunJung be popular again as actor.

Bigbang use to talk about how SS501 were so good looking back then when BB was rookie. I'm still hurt how this generation doesn't even know SS501.

I love this version, it’s the best one to me. I like all the characters. I have always been a fan of Kim Hyun-joong so that’s why I started watching it but Jung So-min played her role so good. They matched perfectly.
At first I hated him cuz they way her treated ohani but then i read his diaries and I realize he loved her but he never had friends or even a relationship so he had a hard time expressing those feelings hes a great guy and hes great for ohani he pushes her to be better and become smart and she helps him express other emotions such as jealousy love and happiness 💕

Ha Ni and Jungo would not have made a good couple. It's always good to have some to care about you. But Jungo was too much. Picture a girl in high school, if a guy like Jungo comes after you, you'll run the other way. Jungo acts like he doesn't have a brain and he embarrass her all the time in public. He's the type of guy who doesn't have much going for him because of the way he acts. Now Jungo had a good heart and he was talented, so only when he decided to change a bit, that when his true potential showed. So Ha Ni would never like a guy like Jungo in high school, I don't think any girl would want a guy like Jungo in high school. A girl wants an outstanding guy who has a purpose in life, Jungo didn't really have that. Ha Ni being his only life motivation as a guy was pretty sad. Because Ha Ni life was centered around Seung Jo. Jungo in a way was similar to Ha Ni, seeing that they both was in love with someone who was not interested in them for years. But the difference is Ha Ni knew boundaries and was more scared of approaching Seung Jo since she knew he wouldn't like that. Although everything was unintentional, she didn't first handedly embarrass him. She knew he didn't like her and kept a safe distance. Enough to say, they were actually close. But Jungo didn't know any boundaries. And he acted like her boyfriend so no girl wants a guy who acts like her boyfriend and constantly embarrass her in front of her crush. Jungo had a good heart and he cared for her, but it just wouldn't work. Even if Ha Ni had a hard time with studies, she actually wanted the best for herself. Ha Ni giving Jungo a chance is more like being obligated to since he was so good to her. But honestly, when a guy who is not your boyfriend is so devoted too you, is more like an added pressure and baggage that no girl wants. Even if every girl wants to be treated special, Jungo was too much and too loud. Chris was good for Jungo, because she like him for who he was. They also had similar personalities but was also different. Jungo also treated Chris terribly because he knew she liked him and he still was cut up with Ha Ni. So he should imagine how Ha Ni felt then. When someone likes you and you don't like them, but they just won't give up. That's the most annoying feeling, especially if you don't want to hurt they feelings. That's why I thought Jungo was cruel to Chris, Ha Ni never treated him coldly even when he harassed her peace. Jungo is the guy that you friendzone, even in a relationship there's something called personal space. With Jungo there's no personal space and no room to grow. Ha Ni wouldn't have much going for her anyway if she chose to be with Jungo. She would just have to settle for working in her family restaurant while Jungo would just want to worship the feet she walks on. And that in itself is not who Ha Ni is, she likes to experience new things and she does her best during hardships. She would just have to settle for less and, you should never settle for less especially in a relationship. Even though someone likes you, you're not entitled to like them back. And you shouldn't feel bad because you don't. Jungo also needed to find himself because no one would have taken him seriously if he continued to live his life without any purpose. I repeat no girl would like a guy who constantly follows her around and it doesn't matter how nice he is.
Yes! Although Jungo really cares for her, and is a really great man that every girl would love to have, i think he isn't really the best for Hani. They are too similar, just like Hera and Seungjo, that's why they won't work out because like you said in your other comment, just because someone is really similar to you doesn't mean you two are the most compatible. Because they are so similar, they don't really bring out the different sides of each other, and like Seungjo said in his diary, Hera makes him comfortable, but that comfort doesn't fill up the emptiness in his heart, and when looking at her, he's like looking into a mirror. She doesn't interest and challenge him since they are similar and she also doesn't make him feel alive. It's the same with Hani and Jungo. Hani and Seungjo are really different, so they both have the qualities each of them lacks, that's why they're the perfect couple. Hani and Jungo simply won't work. I love this movie. I'm going to watch it again soon. It was very enjoyable. I did feel bad for the other guy tho. He had a crush on her so bad he even work in her father restaurant to be close to her. But wind up with a broken heart. I would of date him instead. I love a men that knows how to cook and know how to grill. We can cook together every now and then. Or cook for each other and share recipes.

She is nice warm and loving person but the biggest drawback is that she is so so clingy. Even if she got him by pursuing him persistently however 10 year down the line they would have definitely divorced or she will be very unhappy because their mental level is quite different. Ideally speaking both of them didn't suit each other.

Yes! It was true to the source but believable. I hate that in some other adaptations there's not a lot of chemistry between them.

Because Ha Ni life was centered around Seung Jo. Jungo in a way was similar to Ha Ni, seeing that they both was in love with someone who was not interested in them for years. But the difference is Ha Ni knew boundaries and was more scared of approaching Seung Jo since she knew he wouldn't like that. Although everything was unintentional, she didn't first handedly embarrass him. She knew he didn't like her and kept a safe distance. Enough to say, they were actually close. But Jungo didn't know any boundaries. And he acted like her boyfriend so no girl wants a guy who acts like her boyfriend and constantly embarrass her in front of her crush. Jungo had a good heart and he cared for her, but it just wouldn't work. Even if Ha Ni had a hard time with studies, she actually wanted the best for herself. Ha Ni giving Jungo a chance is more like being obligated to since he was so good to her. But honestly, when a guy who is not your boyfriend is so devoted too you, is more like an added pressure and baggage that no girl wants. Even if every girl wants to be treated special, Jungo was too much and too loud. Chris was good for Jungo, because she like him for who he was. They also had similar personalities but was also different. Jungo also treated Chris terribly because he knew she liked him and he still was cut up with Ha Ni. So he should imagine how Ha Ni felt then. When someone likes you and you don't like them, but they just won't give up. That's the most annoying feeling, especially if you don't want to hurt they feelings. That's why I thought Jungo was cruel to Chris, Ha Ni never treated him coldly even when he harassed her peace.
Jungo is the guy that you friendzone, even in a relationship there's something called personal space. With Jungo there's no personal space and no room to grow. Ha Ni wouldn't have much going for her anyway if she chose to be with Jungo. She would just have to settle for working in her family restaurant while Jungo would just want to worship the feet she walks on. And that in itself is not who Ha Ni is, she likes to experience new things and she does her best during hardships. She would just have to settle for less and, you should never settle for less especially in a relationship. Even though someone likes you, you're not entitled to like them back. And you shouldn't feel bad because you don't. Jungo also needed to find himself because no one would have taken him seriously if he continued to live his life without any purpose. I repeat no girl would like a guy who constantly follows her around and it doesn't matter how nice he is.

A perfect synopsis
Yes! Although Jungo really cares for her, and is a really great man that every girl would love to have, i think he isn't really the best for Hani. They are too similar, just like Hera and Seungjo, that's why they won't work out because like you said in your other comment, just because someone is really similar to you doesn't mean you two are the most compatible. Because they are so similar, they don't really bring out the different sides of each other, and like Seungjo said in his diary, Hera makes him comfortable, but that comfort doesn't fill up the emptiness in his heart, and when looking at her, he's like looking into a mirror. She doesn't interest and challenge him since they are similar and she also doesn't make him feel alive. It's the same with Hani and Jungo. Hani and Seungjo are really different, so they both have the qualities each of them lacks, that's why they're the perfect couple.
Hani and Jungo simply won't work. So i'm really glad he had Chris (and Hera had Kyungsoo
