Can’t believe she didn’t mention Jonesey as a survivor
You're right "Jonesy" her cat, two survivors really
@@stephenragland7710I bet he growled at her and said her like this “are you sure about that”
Jonesey not only survived but went on to father 27 children with u 6 different cats.
@Loner-Wolf as far as I know Jonesy is the only cat on the ship
@@stephenragland7710 but he got back to earth and unless you haven't noticed...🙄 there are other cats on earth...🤫
How I feel when I know there's a spider in my room.
Try to sleep knowing there’s a cockroach 🪳around. Especially if it flies.
@@auntydale you win 🏆
This is true because a facehugger is the technically the mother of an/the alien(s) and it genuinely looks like a giant spider and scorpion hybrid
So, picture this.
You're getting ready for bed after a REALLY hard day, and without warning, you find out that there's a ruthless murderer in your room. And they may or may not be dying, but they can and WILL kill you, first.
You then proceed to speed-dress in your work clothes, walk PAST the murderer as they're getting ready to slaughter you, open the door, and throw them the hell out of your house.
Oh, and the murderer is a biomechanical alien whose whole purpose is ending lives. And you have a pistol, but it only gets one shot.
If you've done all that, you're either lying, or you're Ellen Ripley.
this scene is simply genius. I read that originally the film ended when the Nostromo was destroyed, then Ridney Scott decided to add one more scene (this one), which made it a classic among all horror movies.
@@Bohemian0522true. The original ending would be too dull. Glad they added this & the future instalment follow. But what are we doing at a clip 40 years ago.?? Lmao
@Bampiss true I rather prefer this ending over the original idea that Ridley Scott wanted to conclude
1979's Alien it's an absolute masterpiece and It should been far more better that no sequel at all came out
It sure it is
well the sequel to this film “aliens” is also considered a classic but I respect your opinion
Aliens is fantastic and the proposed alien 3 script from William Gibson was great too.
From what remember hearing about this scene, the Xenomorph was nearing the end of its life cycle and it simply wanted to be left alone. It just happened to the pick the shuttle Ripley was escaping in.
It seems believable to be because Big Chap did appear a bit slower and uninterested, only attacking Ripley after she annoyed it.
Kind of makes you feel a bit sorry for it.
Idk, seemed pretty determined right up till the end...
@@extremeencounter7458
Not at all. It didn’t care at all until Ripley forced it out of its spot. Then it tried to kill her.
Interesting. I just assumed it was sleeping. What is their average lifespan? I don't think it's a short one.
@@ForeverBennett
I don’t remember exactly its lifecycle.
But I think it was Ridley Scott that said it had only a couple days of life. HR Giger believed this too.
@@IncredibleFulk1 have you seen Romulus yet?
I like that the alien was chill in this scene. It adds to it's unpredictability.
what was the alien doing? why it didnt attack ripley ?
Ye I was wondering the same, trying to find some exp
We see in Alien 2 that the xenonorphs use a low energy consumption hibernation mode. The Alien here was tired from killing the rest of the crew, and chose to nap here since it was the quietest part of the ship.
@maitrecontroleprincipal1704 a wise guy
enjoying the tease, knowing it had had its way with the rest of the crew with ease so could afford to do as it pleased, and bide its time - but little did it know that it had met its match with Ripley
0:28 giggety. :P
who else but Quagmire.
Who else but Shirt Pants
0:13 yep
literally myself when I noticed a cockroach inside my bedroom.
Back in school , when all the girls went in my class , went to this movie 🎥 and practically pissed there pants in fear 😂😂😂
Lol💀😂
GO RIPLEY!! ABSOLUTELY BADASSSSSS!!!!
What battle? All she did was prance around in her underwear, torture a dying creature then ejected it into space when it reaches it's hand out for her like it was begging her to stop.
What would you call it?
cry me a river bro, **WHAT BATTLE** Hahahaha
Or how about this “Riphey vs xenomorph” there how about that
I love how this dude said “torture a dying creature” like he’s an animal rights activist protesting the rights of the poor xenomorph 😂
This thing literally killed all her friends.
For something who kills without a second thought, it really took its time here to kill Ripley. I mean he realistically could’ve killed her as soon as she went on the ship
That’s because it was actually dying.
It was nearing the end of its life cycle and just wanted to be left alone. This is according to HR Giger, Ridley Scott and Veronica Cartright.
@@IncredibleFulk1 It probably didn't kill Ripley because it didn't see her as a threat and it wasn't sure if killing her was the right move for it's survival. It had previously been rewarded for it's restraint by not killing Ripley earlier and thereby escaping a nuclear explosion.
Howard Hanson's Symphony No. 2 Romantic! There was a 1970's disco version of Goldsmith's music.
Sigourney Weaver asombrosa unica mágica. La mejor saga de la historia. Leyenda.
Does anyone have any idea why Ripley, in her underwear, hid in the shuttle's locker after being unaware of the xenomorph's presence? Ripley shouldn't have cowardly hidden in the locker, she should have let Big Chap accompany her on the trip back to Earth. Ripley, while in her underwear on the Narcissus, could have seduced Big Chap, then tamed him and kept him as another pet and companion for Jones.

If you listen closely you can hear the Alien explode
My little sisters wouldn't sleep in the dark after seeing this.....especially during thunderstorms the flash's from lightning gave them flashbacks....even the empty coat hangers in their closets looked scary...
Mi gusta mucho esta saga podrían pasarlas

Alien el octavo pasajero
❤❤❤❤
I just watched the movie on theaters yesterday
