Theres a reason the Jags fell off a cliff once he got hurt. He lost the ability to make up for just how poor the OLine was(it was the quickest average colapsing pocket in the NFL and one of the worst run block win rates). For reference he was hit 18 times when the Jags defeated the Bills. Dudes got a fumbling problem that definitely needs fixing though. I'd be fine to give him the Herbert deal.

If Baalke would fix the freakin' O-line then Trevor is an mvp candidate. ETN gets even better because they can actually have a run game.

@@leevancleef358 to be fair, a lot of the Interceptions came because he had the pressure to make a big play by just launching it deep to a covered Ridley because the offense overall was unable to stay on the field. The run game was almost dead unless Etienne had a massive run and boosted the overall run-stats, and the O-line didn't help too much. The biggest improvement Trevor needs to have is Ball security. He lost fumbles without any opponent touching him (ravens game) or he sometimes just held the ball over his head with a defender in front of him (like you would do to a little child from preventing it to grab the ball).
They should have got another wide receiver

I'd say give him close to the Pat Mahomes deal. 10 yrs 500mil. Have it be incentive based, that way if he performs he gets paid... If he craps the bed the team is not totally screwed. Right now i CANNOT envision Trevor making the big plays at the end of a shootout and beating Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar, or Josh Allen...but probably could beat Herbert again in a shootout.

@@maniacslap1623 its more about Trevor's play last year...because he just wasnt good enough. Hopefullly was just injuries holding him back and he stays healthy and becomes great player...but if last year was not injuries...thats not good.
@@leevancleef358imagine having the worst center in league giving up pressure constantly in the middle, a receiver (Ridley) that can’t run the right routes or line up correctly, losing Kirk and Zay with injuries and having your own injuries to deal with… yeah I think Trevor should improve just based off health and Mitch Morse.
