    "Dear Ken and Mary,
    I just had to reach out and express my gratitude for the incredible content you've been sharing on your platform. I stumbled upon your videos on RUclips about two weeks ago, and I've been absolutely hooked ever since. It's astonishing to me that I hadn't discovered you earlier, but I'm so glad I did.
    The knowledge and insights you provide, especially on investing, have been life-changing for me. I've always been hesitant and fearful about investing, but after watching your videos, I feel empowered and confident to take that step. I'm even planning to invest through Vanguard soon!
    Thank you for generously sharing all this valuable information for free. Your dedication to educating others is truly commendable. May God bless you both abundantly for your generosity and kindness. Oh, and I already have your book and I'm diving into it as we speak.
    Thank you once again for everything.

    Thank you so much for the great content! I currently invest in s&p 500 index fund with vanguard. I would like to hear your thoughts on diversifying, by adding another index fund that isn't 100% U.S. companies. Due to compound interest, investing 50:50 in two different index's would no doubt hamper the potential for greater returns in the future say 10-20 years, if instead you just focused on putting your money in one. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you for reading and keep up the good work!

    Hi Ken, thank you for posting this video. It has clarified a lot of complicated jargon! Whilst I understand the difference between index funds and ETFs, I'm not sure I understand what the 'point' of ETFs is? If they're similar but ETFs incur higher fees, why not just invest in index funds?

    • @jonathanhollick6947
      @jonathanhollick6947 2 года назад

      They don't necessarily have higher fees. It depends on the platform you use. From my experience personally band professionally in the UK is that investment platforms will charge similar fees when buying into index funds or ETFs. Presently I have some in an S&P ETF and index fund. Both have annual fees of 0.06% but I had to pay a dealing fee to buy into both

    Fantastic video. Would you mind explaining what is the FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund Accumulation? And what companies are in there? I've searched everywhere and cant seem to find an answer

    Very good video, explained it well. I’m looking to start investing and I won’t ask you for individual advice but would you say it’s a good idea to buy into some Index funds and also look into individual shares at the same time?

    Hi thanks for your super informative vids...should I use a IFA to assist with a little bit of investing..for yourself I understand there would be no need..but for someone like myself just a truck driver lol..maybe I should use a IFA or do you think it's an expensive way of doing it... kind regards..Kev

    Great work again Ken! Having read around my take away is that index funds are more resilient but less liquid but I’m still trying to understand why that’s so significant. If there’s an index fund and ETF both tracking the FTSE, why would anyone go with the ETF over the index or vice-versa assuming a long-term (10 year plus) horizon? I feel that there’s something important for me to understand in this distinction but can’t quite grab what it is. Any clarity would be appreciated

      i am in the same boat about ETF VS Index Fund. Have you learned about it them now and figured which one to go for?
