They should have someone TELLING EVERYONE to KEEP QUIET WHILE THE GUARDS ARE CHANGING OVER... You CAN'T hear the guards over everyone's VOICES... NO RESPECT... DISGUSTING..

Some of the artists that come to Horseguards really are very good. I've seen some magnificent paintings over the last couple of years.

Unfortunately they keep being given conflicting orders on how to respond. The top brass can't decide whether they want them to shout or not. It seems to change two or three times every year.
