my friend I would like to make appointment with you to replace my windshield on my 2014 A4, when your organized, and clean, and your work van says it all also, your a pro and when I see one in any skill trade I say it, im exactly like you when I repair cars. great job, now how can I get you to replace my windshield on my European car also.

Great video, I am an installer as well and this is exactly my method,, love the Spider kit. But one thing caught my eye, My dealer lets me use the same primer for the windshield and the body and I noticed you are using something else on the windshield, can you tell me more about that ?
Hes using the same primer if you never found out. It's the betaseal primer. One is in a stick and one is in a can. But it's the exact same prime just easier to use the stick to prime the glass
what is the best manufacturer of winshield specially if you're leaving in Canada with cold temperature
I use dow express my self all year in Ottawa it's pricey but dries fast
sika drive is similar also

No its a lint free towel.
Alfredo have you used similar equalizer tools ? I think spider looks easier to use and is half the price
the mustache mechanic Spyder and the Raptor are very good tools both have their own place in my tool box. The Raptor uses both fiber line and wire for the difficult cut outs.

My TT (8N) replaced the rubber strip under the windshield (because of oxidation).
Replacement part number: 8N0853306
Do you need glue to fix the rubber strip?

hui chiang Liao the whole glass has to be removed in order to replace the molding correctly. But I’m not sure exactly what kind of car you have to know for sure.
can you remove a ford ranger windshield without ripping the cord
If the urethane didn't squeezed out on the pinch weld wall then I do removed the glass with out breaking the fiber line. But I use my power cold knife on this ones much faster and easier.
How many tubes of 3m do i need 1 or 2
rick carp I used about 1 1/2 using cartridges of 10.5 oz. on this installation but it varies from car to car.
Alfred, A million $ question for you. It seems that "the Spider Tool" is the easiest way to do the job every single time, so why bother using a "Cold Knife"?
hondagoal sometimes its more easier too. I always use a cold knife. Everything else seems pointless. Hand wire when its a tight squeeze to cut out. And extractor on bottom. Never hAve had a problem.

The weather doesn´t look very well.....that brings me to the question what you do if it suddenly starts to rain during such a mobile glass replacement?
I'm in California and it hardly ever rains here, as a matter of fact we are in a drought. For those few weeks of rainy days we only schedule in our shop or unless customer has a spacious garage.
