Awesome news about the baby. Congratulations. I myself have the same path with my van. I'm a single dad of 3. My kids are 7,10 & 13. Abit older so I ended up with a roof top tend on my Renault traffic. The kids love it up there. And occasionally when I get out by myself I get to sleep up there. Views are much better to fall asleep too. Keep up the good work on the vivaro build. See you in the next episode.
I love the lifestyle and the convenience of being able to just pack up and go at a moments notice, trying to get my brother to have my old van and come camping with his kids and set the next generation on the path. Congratulations on the baby news all the best 😀
Congratulations on your news about the new addition to your family! Just a thought about your van, if you are not looking for a larger one, wouldn’t it be better to reconfigure this one? A lot less work then starting a fresh and also you have already ironed out all the mechanical problems. A new van would have it’s own inherit problems to sort out! Just a thought, congrats again! Congratulations, I’ve only just came across your channel this morning and have binged 4 episodes back to back, Sep 22 we purchased a boxer l4 (ex ambulance) it was already converted but it has bunk beds at the back of the van and the dining area converts in to a double bed, We are a family of 4 and fell in love with the layout as we struggled to find a 4 birth / 4 seats.
Congrats on the news! We have one of each as well - they both love a trip away in a van (we have a T6 SWB so usually 2 of us sleep in the van & 2 in a tent)

Congratz! I've been seeing designs of beds that can raise or lower for 4 people sleeping. Or where an angled pop-up is added via a small hole into the ceiling for access. Solar panels can go on those, too. But w/ that design, you loose all sense of stealth and it would probably be bad for high winds.

Gotta be a relay/boxer/ducato L3 H3 - stick a bunk above the rear bed. Then similar to the transit. Aim for a pre 2.0 (around 2019) to avoid all the euro 6 bull... Much simpler engines.
Congratulations buddy! Was only 4 weeks ago tomorrow you and a kind few on here were wishing me the same! So.... van wise.. hear me out, as much as I'd love to see you build ANOTHER van... you my man are gonna busy with 2 lil'ns soon! Haha so... here's my idea and input- you make the kitchen slightly smaller and move the sink backwards, the double seat in the front you then properly mount behind your drivers seat facing forwards and you get another 'captains chair' for the passenger...that way you have a walk thru... both front single seats then can have swivel bases.. you have your four seats AND if you look up cabbunks would be a great fun bunk bed system for your kiddies... at one end of the van with you and your Mrs at the t'other... would open up the space too... hopefully you understood and could picture all that?? Anyways... see you in the morning... goodnight!!!!.... CHEERS! ❤

Just got back from Cornwall after two weeks down there ,never got to meet you or even see you ,we were staying at our usual haunt at perranporth but did travel around a fair bit to like godrevy ( our favourite place) the lizard , hell mouth etc etc .how lucky you are.
