You make it look so easy. It’s not But I’m slowly getting it done. This video is a little deceptive , it shows the parts being placed ( video stops ) then starts again after it’s been wrangled into place. Thats where you can break a few parts if you’re not very careful.
I use Elmer's Glue-All Extra Strong Formula for my repairs. Let it dry overnight and see if it can still move without breaking. Depends really on where it broke.
I’m building this with my 7 year old grandson. I’m letting him remove the pieces from the panels and helping with some of the easy connections. It’s challenging but so much fun! If only he were a little more patient 😅.
Some pieces do really need some patience to put together since they're so fragile. Best to go slow and sure to avoid breaking them and have a bottle of glue handy just in case. Glad both of you are having fun with the build. 😊
Do you mean why didn't I sand it? I sand out the burrs that connected the parts to smoothen it out. Didn't include it in the video because that would include almost every single wooden part. Guess I should have mentioned it at the beginning of the video.

The ball bearings are also getting stuck occasionally at the ball drop section. I have the same problem where the little paddles get stuck.
Yeah they occasional do that in mine. Never got to try and fix it since they don't get stuck that often.

I don’t like how the balls drop down the spiral when they should go around it.
I see what you mean. Some balls seem to lose their momentum when they get to the spiral. That's why they drop instead of spin around.
