I think they will answer the Well of Sarrows question by Solas releasing them. It seems like something he would do. Solas is against Slavery in all forms, so it stands to reason that he would release that person when he absorbed mythal
We’ll get some kind of answer. The elven gods are back and will most likely be taken down this game. It doesn’t make sense if they don’t close off major loose ends even with a simple cleverly worded codex entry.

It makes no sense to get rid of the keep, bring back the inquisitor and Morrigan just to not tie up the Well of Sorrows situation. Hopefully its put somewhere in the game even if its not in the start menu.
The well of sorrows was solved in Inquisition though? Morrigan will be inheriting however much of Mythal she sent through the eluvian so now she either gets the power of controlling herself or controlling a dethroned and depowered inquisitor
With BioWare nixing the Keep and the brevity of back game choices, it’s possible that many things will remain unanswered, even after we roll credits in Veilguard.
I really do think that the titans are coming back in some fashion especially with The Descent DLC and maybe we will see / have Valter mentioned probs by Harding because, in the V&V podcast, most episodes had earthquakes in Tevinter (Davrin’s), Par’Vallen (Taash’s), if I remember correctly and recently Antiva in the Lucanis episode. Bearing in mind one earthquake in a country, yeah natural but earthquakes throughout Thedas > very suspicious. Obviously the question of canon comes into play, as the pod has been seen as an introduction to the characters but lore-wise it’s been dicey.
Solas stated in prologue of inquisition that magic drawn on the temple could’ve corrupted Lyrium and in veil guard solas said the Evanuris tapped into the ancient magic of the blight so the blight was there during the ancient elves period so my theory is that war that made the elders to king and then eleven gods and a plausible war was the dwarves and titans vs elves because the elves forced the dwarves underground broken war so maybe elves magic corrupted a titan and created the first blighted titan and the dialogue of solas showing how the Evanuris tapped into the blight for more power
I can’t get over the Qunari redesign…I will still play the Veilguard but I hoped BioWare wouldn’t have changed the menacing look of the Qunari as they appeared in dragon age 2 and 3.

Always been a dwarf fan, so I’m Really hoping for more Titan lore. And for a twist with Tevinter old gods so that everything doesn’t all lead back to the elves.

here's my theory about blight. It was sealed by someone (maker, one of evanuris or maybe completely someone else) inside black city. And when stupid magisters broke inside city - they released it
I watched a good theory the other day but it has already been disproven but it was that.... In the beginning there was the maker(who is the sun) and the spirit of the earth but they were lonely so they gave birth to elgar-nan and the earth spirit made birds and beasts for him to play with and they had SO much fun and the maker looked down and became jealous so he scorched all the birds and beasts. Elgar-nan was livid and imprisoned his father but without the sun nothin could live so elgar-non released his father under the promise that he would come back everyday to heat the earth. I really really like this theory but we know now that elgar-nan was an elven mage not a god..... 😢
I'm kind of annoyed at so many of the mysteries of Thedas getting connected to the elven gods and hope that is not the direction they go with everything remaining in the rest of the series, it makes the world feel too small. Like what what next, are they gonna make Andraste the descendent of an elven god or secretly an elf....
Random but wouldn’t it be cool if the next dragon age is the last « dragon » age as it is set at the end of the century and the titans reawaken or something and the franchise becomes titan age moving forward lol ? Just a random thought haha the titans are the most interesting bit of lore in the entire franchise imo now that we know and will know, thanks to veilguard, so much about the elves, tho technically the franchise could be named anything age for the next century and it’s already an anthology series so I’m looking forward to more stories if they want to keep expanding the lore like Star Wars for example, it’s too well written to let a world like that not being expanded as long as they are good stories to tell in it

If you pre-ordered the game, make sure you still have money on your card when it is released. Not long ago, I went to my banker because I had thought my card was hacked (fortunately it wasn't), and she told me that my card was overdrawn, and that's why I was getting a message on the rest of an order 'not enough funds'. Apparently, companies don't take the money the moment you order/pre-order something. They take the money the moment they send the item to you. So make sure you have that money on your card on the 30th, so you can get the game on the 31st. Your choices mattering has nothing to do with what will be answered. A regular series of books have no choices at all and can still obviously raise and answer questions. And frankly, your choices barely mattered in the past. The story of DA2 and DAI are the same regardless of if your warden was a Dalish elf, a circle mage or whatever. It didn't matter if you killed the boy in Redcliffe, or if you killed Flemeth. The stories are always the same, you just possibly get brief cameos that still don't change the story, like seeing Alistair in DA2. You could kill Leliana in DAO and she's still alive in DAI.

We are in a different half of the continent interacting with groups that for the most part have no ties to choices we made in the past. Even major ones like who sits on the ferelden throne don’t really impact or even matter and if that doesn’t matter then neither does if the blacksmiths daughter lived, who you sided with in 2, if the wardens were exiled, etc. Narratively it would make no sense for 90% of the choices to have any impact on the story in veilguard due to location, time passed, not to mention the minor level of importance that many interactions actually had.

It´s the continuation of Inquisition. And in true Bioware fashion the outcome of Solas fate will probably depend on the choice you made in Trespasser. Yes the writing is on the wall and it´s good.
Its the opposite for me tbh. My first impressions were really worrying, but then seeing boomsticks' combat video, the preview impressions, and the focus on choices within one game, plus solas, makes this game look really exciting. People keep saying they want origins combat, but truth is, almost nobody else wants it, and even inquisition combat wasn't that great at the end of the day.
I just googled and its probably because of nudity and gore. Many games like Final Fantasy 16, God Of War, Last of us and Fallout are banned there for that reason. Sorry

I dont understand why people are so obsessed with the fkn well. It ends with the same result regardless: It's Mythal's well. Flemeth transfers her essence through the eluvian to Morrigan right before Solas shows up and absorbs Mythal from her. They clearly aren't interested in Solas having mind control powers over either Morrigan or the Inquisitor. The choices are: Did Inky disband the inquisition, who was their love interest, and are they gonna redeem or kill solas. I feel that the love interest will only be relevant for Solas, otherwise they might get a mention.

Titans awekening after we deal with Elven Gods ? Why does that sounds like actual plot of Gothic's-Risen's world .. We dealt as very fed up Chosen one to Human God for 3 games, by third game the proper ending was basically go forth with friendly necromancer plan .. Oh my gods, how the hell did I forgot that Xardas was the friendly necromancer I was thinking of. Fail. Mega fail. So yes indeed I waited over 20 years for any media to do non cliche evil necromancer again. Sorry, basically we side with Necromancer plan, who made himself Chosen one to Chaos God, we get approval of third Nomad god and basically both Chosen Ones with blessing of Third banished themselves from world to finally sever connection and influence of petty arguing gods once and for all. However by the time of Risen we learn that petty trio of gods that constantly waged war against one another, had purpose and said purpose were well .. keeping powerful spirits of nature in check. The Titans. With power vacuum present and nothing above them keeping them imprisoned, they all awoken and started to cause natural disaster in their fight for power. Basically protagonist of Risen is the one that finds way to kill his first ever titan - residing in Volcano on island he was on, and from that + being stuck for rest of life with relic to even see Titans properly, he was trying to hunt them down. What you described here with Evanuris and Titans is pretty much that franchise overarching plot that spanned for .. 6 games ?

Tbf I don’t see how any Origins choice would affect Veilguard. Ingame Origins happend 20 years ago and in Ferelden where we will not be going in Veilguard.
Uh...have you not seen some of Veilguard's gameplay, the village with the Blight? Weisshaupt? Origins didn't have alot of dark, hello? Denerim was a city you went to on a sunny day, no blood or bodies scattered about. Brecilian Forest? Colorful green with the sun in the sky. Lothering? Another town where it was sunny with no dead bodies scattered about. Each Dragon Age game has it's light and dark environments. I forgive you, it's probably been a long time since you played Origins and the other two.
I feel bad for Jackdaw. This game is going to disappoint everyone who was a dedicated fan to the lore and story of the DA universe in favor of propaganda politics.
None of any important/inriguing questions from past games will be answered yet you will listen how some of the companions or NPC's got their chest scars and how traumatized they are
The story is the continuation of Trespasser, your Inquisitior, Varric, Harding, Solas and Morrigan are involved. The game is 40 - 70 hours long and you think all they do is talk about scars. Please watch less hatebait youtubers.

Even major ones like who sits on the ferelden throne don’t really impact or even matter and if that doesn’t matter then neither does if the blacksmiths daughter lived, who you sided with in 2, if the wardens were exiled, etc. Narratively it would make no sense for 90% of the choices to have any impact on the story in veilguard due to location, time passed, not to mention the minor level of importance that many interactions actually had.
If the rumors are true and this is the last game of the franchise, they have a LOT to answer.
A lot of this is going to debunk the Maker and the Chantry's beliefs and I gotta tell you I can't wait to see it.

I would have appreciated at least some kinda choices recall like in mass effect 2. Even if it doesn't lead to anything it at least gives a placebo effect of your choices mattering .

Veilguard is going to be disappointing I think. For many reasons.
The witty marvel level dialogue from videos they’ve shown doesn’t inspire confidence.
I want whatever copium you all are huffing, the more I learn about Veilguard the less I want to play it. The writing is on the wall when it comes to this game.
It´s the continuation of Inquisition. And in true Bioware fashion the outcome of Solas fate will probably depend on the choice you made in Trespasser. Yes the writing is on the wall and it´s good.
Its the opposite for me tbh. My first impressions were really worrying, but then seeing boomsticks' combat video, the preview impressions, and the focus on choices within one game, plus solas, makes this game look really exciting.
People keep saying they want origins combat, but truth is, almost nobody else wants it, and even inquisition combat wasn't that great at the end of the day.

I just googled and its probably because of nudity and gore. Many games like Final Fantasy 16, God Of War, Last of us and Fallout are banned there for that reason. Sorry
Also it heavily featured LGBT content which is a no go in many of those regions.

I don't get what man looks feminine there .. if it's about Davrin again, I swear to gods these grifters should be kicked. Zevran in DA origins was elf and yes, our smexy assassin could also easily pass as on more non traditional masculinity beauty standards if one likes. Elves as race are always more feminine from get go. Both Emmerich and Lucanis look relatively normal. Same for male Rook in cinematic.

I dont understand why people are so obsessed with the fkn well. It ends with the same result regardless: It's Mythal's well. Flemeth transfers her essence through the eluvian to Morrigan right before Solas shows up and absorbs Mythal from her.
They clearly aren't interested in Solas having mind control powers over either Morrigan or the Inquisitor.
The choices are: Did Inky disband the inquisition, who was their love interest, and are they gonna redeem or kill solas. I feel that the love interest will only be relevant for Solas, otherwise they might get a mention.
Tragically, you're not going to get answers for any of that. bro! The new devs don't care about the first 3 games. Conflict and plot are scary! Let's just make self-inserts and kiss cartoon characters. That's the only thing that matters, after all.

Titans awekening after we deal with Elven Gods ? Why does that sounds like actual plot of Gothic's-Risen's world .. We dealt as very fed up Chosen one to Human God for 3 games, by third game the proper ending was basically go forth with friendly necromancer plan .. Oh my gods, how the hell did I forgot that Xardas was the friendly necromancer I was thinking of. Fail. Mega fail. So yes indeed I waited over 20 years for any media to do non cliche evil necromancer again. Sorry, basically we side with Necromancer plan, who made himself Chosen one to Chaos God, we get approval of third Nomad god and basically both Chosen Ones with blessing of Third banished themselves from world to finally sever connection and influence of petty arguing gods once and for all.
However by the time of Risen we learn that petty trio of gods that constantly waged war against one another, had purpose and said purpose were well .. keeping powerful spirits of nature in check. The Titans. With power vacuum present and nothing above them keeping them imprisoned, they all awoken and started to cause natural disaster in their fight for power.
Basically protagonist of Risen is the one that finds way to kill his first ever titan - residing in Volcano on island he was on, and from that + being stuck for rest of life with relic to even see Titans properly, he was trying to hunt them down.
What you described here with Evanuris and Titans is pretty much that franchise overarching plot that spanned for .. 6 games ?
after all the bad shit that came out this game, and the last of hope died when own 3 of your choice matter, I wait for review, the only way this game would be save if the gameplay it good and the writes which some of these questions need to be answer which I doubt it, the only one that may be answer it the elven Gods since they back and one of them it the queen of the darkspawn which she cost the Blight which could be answer but the other question, I doubt we will find out

Tbf I don’t see how any Origins choice would affect Veilguard. Ingame Origins happend 20 years ago and in Ferelden where we will not be going in Veilguard.
The things I love about DA are in the game like Story, Lore, Companions, Solas and Elven lore.

Origins didn't have alot of dark, hello? Denerim was a city you went to on a sunny day, no blood or bodies scattered about.
Brecilian Forest? Colorful green with the sun in the sky.
Lothering? Another town where it was sunny with no dead bodies scattered about.
Each Dragon Age game has it's light and dark environments. I forgive you, it's probably been a long time since you played Origins and the other two.
I feel bad for Jackdaw. This game is going to disappoint everyone who was a dedicated fan to the lore and story of the DA universe in favor of propaganda politics.

None of any important/inriguing questions from past games will be answered yet you will listen how some of the companions or NPC's got their chest scars and how traumatized they are
The story is the continuation of Trespasser, your Inquisitior, Varric, Harding, Solas and Morrigan are involved. The game is 40 - 70 hours long and you think all they do is talk about scars. Please watch less hatebait youtubers.
Only your character will have the scars (and maybe Krem if he happens to appear), and they are entirely OPTIONAL.
