Best polisher I ever had was Strawberry. She didn't know anything about paint, but mane she could sure polish
😁😁😁😁😁😁
Haha 😂
Use the g9 with 6” pads to blast through larger panels past and come in with the g8 on a 3” plate for the smaller areas. Amazing combo 🤙🏻
Griots Garage G9 Polisher retails for around $169.99 and up. A beginner is usually on a budget.
Then buy a cheap Bauer from harbor freight that’ll break on you in a few weeks. $169 isn’t bad compared to rupes prices
That is beginner prices your talking about unless you want the worst of the worst 😂
G9 is the best bang for buck polisher out
Buy a used one for 60
@@TheRman2272 😂😂😂
I started with my dads makita rotary that old thing still runs strong then I bought my own dewalt rotary
It’s almost 200 bucks lmao might as well just save and buy a really good one and practice with that if you’re gonna do it
I appreciate the tip! I think I'm probably just going to keep saving for rupes. I really hope they live up to the hype!
I just ordered mark 3
Same here. That Rupes just hit differently tbh
Rupes is really good, but so is the max shine and performs just as well for half the cost... Now, I do recommend their pads and compounds when it comes to rupes
That's actually really good advice!
The hands baby…..wax on wax off…..
I bought the exact one you say to get brand new and it was the kit and I paid 40$ off a crack head. I been scared to use it
Really…Do you want to sell it ???
@@lanthonyperdum6430 where you located ?
It is all cracked up bro...don't do it😅😅😅😅😅
😂😂😂
Lol why not just go bauer from the HFs? At $79 with a 6in orbital. Cant beat it. Variable speed as well
It’s shaky and very bad for your hands over time with the vibration and noise. The Griots one has replaceable parts, and has a detachable cord which is great too.
I don’t know if i do something wrong, but a bought thats griots polisher, after a few minutes the polisher won’t work anymore, i went to the store (pep boys) and they change for a new one, the same, after a car door won’t works.
What are you doing to cause it not to work? Are you applying to much pressure to cause it stall out? What setting are you using and what are you trying to accomplish?
Sounds like user error. Very weird
They have a lifetime warranty…
I was thinking about the dewalt one but i would like u to review it since im just collecting dewalt tools at this point
We use the dewault rotary mainly for polishing metal, and personally for removing bigger scratches, but I always hit the rest with a porter cable orbital.
👍
The vibration in the griots i bought was bad..... ended up going out on me after 2 years so no warranty, will be going to the harbor freight Hercules next with 5 year warranty. Can't beat it for 115 bucks
Griots had lifetime warranty
@tylerjohnson3164 it was a whole process.... shipping was gonna cost a 1/3rd of what a new one would snd that was if it was coveted, not everything is.

My polisher is 3 kg. I can’t feel my spine. I need something more beginner friendly
Harbor Freight.
You dont have gear action force action which is the bestest and the betterest
Can i use 4 inch backing plate for g8? Or even 5 inch back plate
Ok. Now elaborate. What polish and pads
Now this guy knows how to use that youngla trash stuff lol. My guy wears it to wash and polish cars 😂
Can I just use my drill? Lol
Depends on the preference since they all get the job done 👌
Nail polish 😂
This is a corded polisher but where’s the cord?
Do you know if a chemical guys backing plate fit the g9
A sander
I mean all of them spin and does the job
Facts !
That's exactly what I have😅
what is the best to do paint corrections and waxing ?
best content but still confusing how to do door handles hahaha thanks bro Top G detailer
Is Rotary better for new folk or DA?
DA
What’s your location?
G9 only has a 9mm throw. You'd want the G15 for the 15mm throw
Not if you are a beginner. There is only so much clear coat you know sitting on top of your paint. Long throw removes more as it is more aggressive.
Yep👍🏽👍🏽
What about using on headlights? 15mm? Thanks!
What About A Chemical Guys Torq 10fx?..
Never chemical guys
@@luithegreat7520 why?
How much does this weigh? Because i have no upper body strength yet but I detail cars at my work and have been using a mini Chicago air hose polisher for scratches 😂😢
This is the beginner, what's the intermediate? Do I swing for the rupes after this?
I’d say yes
NEVER NEVER USE A BUFFER ON A CAR..NEVER..
?
Why do you say that
Thanks. This is good info
Plz need a full video on this topic as you step up! Thanks in advance
Don't get this garbage
Why? 😂
Don't get one with color
Why ??
It would be helpful if you were to elaborate on your comment, description of garbage is pointless info with no value
The Griot's is garbage?
What product do you use to polish and max?
