The best **trust the process** moment
Why did Barry like waited 7-9 seconds after Thawne ran off. He could've tooken his ass down outside of the house.
In this case, Barry had to lose to win. This moment. This new paradox is the reason the Flash is who he is today. He knows he’s faster than Thawne. He knows he can easily wipe him without even breaking a sweat. But he knows, as much as it pains him, as much as he knows the pain it will inflict on his younger self and his past self, he knows that he cannot change this night. For this is the beginning of his origin story.
Plus, there were other instances where he did stop this past moment and it created Flashpoint paradoxes.
