I will miss my family back home, but on many occasions when I was working, I had to work on Christmas day. I was watching another vlog and they were saying there are two types ( which I don't fully agree with) of expats in Thailand, those who want a cheap place to live and those who want to live in Thailand. I definitely am the latter. There are plenty of cheap places to live in the world but Thailand has stolen my heart. I was freaked out for a minute about the tax stuff, which I'm sure will get sorted, but regardless I'll make it work. Full retirement plans in the works with yearly trips planned! HAPPY HOLIDAYS WAYNE! Thanks for 4 years of great vlogs, I've seen every single one of them and look forward to what the next year brings!
The pHAE gate on the east side by the moat the main street and surrounding area is decked out in Christmas lights. Looks nice . The Philippines, on the other hand is a whole different story. They celebrate Christmas to the hilt. You start hearing christmas songs at the end of july and i'm not kidding. They really dig Christmas.... Religion and background is why.... I love both destinations so much I go to both yearly.
Thanks for the glimpse of Christmas, hard to believe it's been a year already, and it seems more like Christmas there, than here, as Christmas seems to be something that someone want's killed off here, and in America in general. I hope you and everyone there has an enjoyable Christmas and and a great New Year, and I want to express much appreciation for all your good efforts and all you've shared Wayne, it does bring some light and joy into my life and for sure many others. Hello Wayne, In Xmas time you should go to the beach town or Bangkok. Thailand is the Buddha land specially Chiang Mai and hope you enjoy with season's greetings in Thailand.
In Bangkok they tend to cater for the Westerners and dress the place up a bit likely because they want some retail action probably for no other reason. I was on the farm for Christmas one year near Kanchanaburi and they did wrap up a bunch of presents for the kids to open so the kids must be aware of Santa and chimneys 😂🤣😂 The presents contained bottles of detergent, clothes washing powder, generally stuff for a kitchen, not the usual gifts kids would want - but they did do it and used it as an excuse to get pissed not that they needed one. Yeah mate I prefer it here in Sydney. Off to the brother's palatial residence this year armed with a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka. You have a lovely Christmas Wayne and, same with me, 'let the hair down' even if neither of us has much. Why the hell not 😂🤣😂 🎄🎅🍻🤩
It just wouldn't seem like Christmas to me when it's that warm. It's hard enough in California, where it's usually 18-24C. My son is moving to Canada next summer, and I may go spend Christmas with him up there to get cold and snow! ⛄🎄 Merry Christmas, Wayne!
