    I was born and brought up in Mangalore and don't understand a word of tamil.. Sometimes I feel that if one is open minded towards different languages, one could discover some real gem of recipies.. this is by far the best buns recipie I have encountered online! Thank you very much!🙏

      @Mark Anthony Not only just that. Tradition has its advantages. For example, Marwaris have advantage of knowing money better than most of the rest of us. As he said, food is very important towards Udupi and traditional cooks - Bhats - live with with more cooking talent than most of us, which is why they are generally more adept at it than the rest of us.

    Me a Marathi Kannadiga from US, watching a chef from Karnataka make Mangalore buns in Tamil, the language I don't know and trying to understand just by looking at the ingredients! This is enough of an example that food goes beyond boundaries and speaks to heart. You don't need to pay attention to these unnecessary comments by irrelevant people!

    Hii sir.. I'm from Mangaluru but basically I'm from Coimbatore. what u said is 200% correct.. we frequently do this starters and its my fav too.. Krishna temple is famous in South Karnataka. Please do visit sir😍💗 love you to the core. Ur the cooking guru for me.     Please ignore all the negative comments. Your knowledge about cooking is so amazing. North or south any cuisine you show us is just amazing and we do try it. There are many people out here who are waiting for your recipes and feel happy in making it. On hearing the good comments from family members we proudly say it's Bhatt chef's recipe.
