Nice video Justin. I like the uncluttered deck. I had a Hobie that was loaded but it felt like I was cramped in the middle of all that stuff. I like the looks of the seat. I fish out of a Ranger bass boat and I'm used to standing up.

I'm an older guy with some back issues, so the seat configuration will make it easier for me to on & off-board and should be more comfortable. Also, if the color you want shows to be unavailable on their website, they have more coming within the next couple of weeks. Just hit them up on the chat and they'll add what you want so you can place your order. You'll just have to wait a couple of weeks.

I've decided I'm getting a Zulu for sure, I was set on a pedal but then saw your motor set up price. I was going to put a motor on it regardless considering you can just take out the pedal drive, put the cover on and add a seat (or keep deck space) and it basically becomes the basic model, but I'm curious how long your battery lasts. Can you get a full days fishing out of that? I don't really care about speed or spot lock, just something that I can use for 3-4 hours without having to have to worry about paddling back to the dock.
I have been on multiple 8hr trips and still keep around 30% battery. Now with that being said I can burn through it faster if I'm just full throttle all the time. But normal fishing situations I've never had to worry about it

@charlestafoya1947 very stable! I should also add it's not like it blows ypu away just changes your direction. This is only when paddling With motor or pedal drive you'd hardly notice it at all!
@@csilva6 got the hitch extender from harbor freight. Makes everything easier. I put a foam noodle on the bar and carpet over that ziptied. So it slides easy without scratching
@whoisfishinpanda1572 I just turn around sit on the back of seat and lower it or pull it up. I know not everyone will be able to do that. But that's how I do it
Yes I do and I recently upgraded it a little bit. I added a metal rack between the legs the make it more sturdy and prevent the rod holders from rotating. Just attached the mounts to the rack The racks are oven trays from Walmart Rodholders also came from Walmart. Just ziptied to the seat legs
The big fish 103 was to bulky and slow. I loved the big fish for being short and stable. But unfortunately I had tons of issues while owning. Different parts of the drive falling apart. Rudder issues. Thin plastic in parts of hull. The hull cracked at the rudder and I sank barely made it shore in time. I really like the hull of the big fish line but they have to get there parts a little better. They had great customer service. But what's the point when something is broke every other month. The Kaku is a much more pleasant experience for my type of fishing. I use a transom motor when bass fishing. No rudder to worry about. No drive to fight with. When fishing salt flats. This thing paddles amazing and I can stand in the seat and use a push pole. The stability in this thing is crazy and I like the open front deck
I'm going tomorrow to demo, what size paddle do you use or recommend, I like the open design so will wait to decide on the pedal drive, do you have a review of your motor setup?
250cm / 98in as a minimum the seat is pretty higher so longer the better. Plus it makes it easier to paddle standing in the seat if you have a long paddle

Its very secure. It never moves while driving 75mph. on a track system. 2 twist knobs and it can slide back and forth

I use it a ton in the river/bayous. I stand on the seat and sightfish bowfin in the backwaters of the river.

The Kaku transom mount from their website. But Any transom mount that matches the same "powerpole bolt pattern" amazon has a few as well

And it’s tough to carry with two people because the rudder gets in the way
