  • This is a lake we have tried to get on several times before, but the wind was always so severe to make a canoe outing unsafe. Third time was the charm. It was fantastic weather, perhaps a bit cold, but it made the sun feel all the better when it came out. The only damper of the day, and I apologize for the background noise, were the chainsaws and woodchipper going most of the day. Thanks for coming along as we finally cast lures into this lake.

That pickerel was a beast, wink wink. Your brothers bass was most respectable as well. Why wasn't that on video? I'll refrain from commenting on getting bit.

The Bass was caught as I was changing the battery in my Go pro, I had no chance to video the catch in full.

@@FishinFoolsCT Makes sense. Chance rolls the dice any given moment. Sometimes you prevail, sometimes you don't.

Too bad what should have been a nice, serene day, beautiful sky and subsequent reflections on mirror like water, were overshadowed by the constant aural intrusion of power equipment. Not your fault, but it sure is vexing to hear. Usually it is wind. I almost prefer the wind, at least it is natural.
