I think Milwaukees impacts are generally known as the best. Dewalt has made shitty impacts forever, but with the last two new releases or so, they’ve made much better improvements
Man, all of the Dewalt impacts I’ve owned or used through work have all broke in different ways. The chuck that holds sockets on fell out trying to loosen a nut on a main landing gear wheel.
The 2 imo will continue to be the tippy top of the market. DeWalt and Milwaukee just feed off of one another too much. If Lowes can do better at marketing and displaying FLEX I think it can catch up, cause performance wise they're damn close if not even.
This speed thing us ridiculous theres barely anything in it and I'd like to see a week trial with each one used daily. Charge, time run, time amount on a charge , weight, comfort, noise, handling and price 1 second on one screw dosent mean anything. Ffs.
I think these simple speed tests do kind of dumb down what really makes a tool the best. durability and longevity major factors. I know its not as easy to demonstrate that in a video but seeing as you're someone with experience with most major tool brands it would be nice to hear your opinions that stuff.
Are you buying my tools? No? Then STFU! I don't buy knockoff batteries because they're garbage compared to the real thing. It robs the tools of power and they don't last.
I can definitely testify to that. Used knock offs before and won't be using them again. By the time the Milwaukee battery died you've already gone through multiple knock offs and saved very little money, if any at all.
It's more about battery life. And I'm finding that the dewalt power stack has knocked the Milwaukee out. The .5 second faster doesn't really matter to me. And I own mostly Milwaukee.
Hey sir, I was able to catch a bit of your live while I was at work. Noticed you mentioned the Dewalt 860 is pretty heavy and has trigger issues. Any notable ongoing issues with the Milwaukee? Just turned 30 and bought my family our first house upgrading from Ryobi I used in college, only Milwaukee tools I’ve used are my fathers, but wanting to get my own stuff.
For you, I wouldn't think you need high end tools. The Milwaukee has been reported to break easily and I can tell you they have battery retention issues. Honestly, I would say you should look into the Metabo HPT Triple Hammer. It's smooth, comfortable, and has no issues that I've ever experienced. While it isn't fast or powerful, you're not building a home. It's a professional grade tool but will give you a better user experience than either Dewalt or Milwaukee.
@@ToolswithSoAlz have no experience with Metabo, but will definitely check it out! thank you sir. I heard a lot of great things about the new makita’s, would you recommend them? Just pulling your chain, thanks SoAlz!
I'm kinda in the same boat. Ohio power Tool and lowes have been having great deals on Flex and kobalt stuff so I went with them. But you can find good deals on Metabo HPT too. Acme had their 36v rear handle circ saw for like $200, a random site had the the new hanner drill for $150, Amazon, had their 36v battery and charger for $130. Uh there's a couple places to get the older tripple hammer for $100 even.
If I lived near Home depot I would have picked rigid. If I lived close to harbor freight I might have picked Hercules but they are 25min away and didn't have deals on the batteries at the time.
Look buddy he’s trying to say if you are comparing them, “head to head” at least do your due diligence and charge your battery… and no I’m not for dewalt I’m Milwaukee all day but jeez there are better people out here who do tool reviews
@alexdavis3479 Alecia, do you know at what point the charge of the battery is enough to cause the tool to lose power? Unlike you, I do. You girls should quit making excuses or prove me wrong. Otherwise remain silent and learn
@@alexdavis3479The whole point behind the Powerstack battery is that it maintains close to 100% of its power, throughout the duration of the batteries charge cycle. On the Powerstack, you don’t see any kind of speed/RPM difference until you are at about 20% of the battery charge left. A fully charged battery wouldn’t have made a difference.
