Just a sample here from our Porchfest appearance last Saturday. This pairing of songs has become our standard show opener. The introduction is our short arrangement of "Burning Bridge", which first appeared as a b-side for her "Cloudbusting" single. This is followed quickly by the title track for HOUNDS OF LOVE, which gives us a great groove to warmup to.
It was a nice fall day for an outdoor show, even if our band was much accustomed to a darkened theater or rock club setting. The wind was occasionally gusting around us, but the weather was pretty nice overall. You can see the crowd starting to gather as we're just getting started with our hour-long set. There were many more that came by the time we finished. Thank you to everyone who did come out!
