    Beautiful restoration. Interesting to see a right hand drive vehicle made in Canada..

      Good point. Every single one of these was right hand drive, whether it was built by Chevrolet or Ford(externally they look pretty much identical) and most were exported for the war effort to many corners of the world. They were a common sight in Canada postwar and soldiered on as wreckers and builders and farm trucks into the 1970s and then started to disappear but thankfully a few have been preserved here. The Canadian War Museum in Ottawa has a very nice collection of several versions of CMPs. Cheers from Canada!

    OOOH I like that truck. There aren't many in the US but I managed to get a ride in one once, and there's not much room in the cab but they ride very well. One of the first truly purpose built trucks, not adapted from a civilian model they were a very successful truck
