Very Jealous - seeing a Lancaster & Mosquito that close & moving - brilliant!
IT me or is the volume level a bit light?
There was other people at the memorial so we were trying to be respectful.
Sorry we will try to be louder next time

That's a nice peace of kit 👍
Brakes not Breaks
One fabulous restoration 👍👍👍
It is isn't it?
Wrong. After use, oil pools in the lower cylinders of radials. If the oil is not removed from the cylinders they engine could at worst have hydraulic lock and bend the rods, or at minimum could foul the spark plugs. Turning a radial over before startup allows the oil to escape past the valves and out the exhaust. The engine can then be started.
She is pretty much right just didn’t go into as much detail as you have
god I miss playing with armor.
Not sure if is a similar problem on these engines in tanks, but in aircraft the lowest cylinder could be prone to leaking oil building up, and swinging the prop was a way to check for hydraulic lock before the starter was engaged
correct 100%.
Yes, they used the same type radial engine as used in aircraft. The old Sherman's used the Continental licensed version of the Wright R975 radial. There were 4 different engines in use in the Sherman's but that was the only radial.
0:38, Do you know the scoop about the damaged Sherman on the trailer? Will it be completely restored, or simply preserved as is? Or is it actually in operating condition? Every video I've seen of the 80th DDay Anniversary; it's on that trailer and being towed along.
According to my brother (he was at A&E) the Sherman on the trailer has a fibre glass turret. It will probaly be restored in running condition. It is now a empte shell with a peppered left side. Not sure if a original turet will be placed on top of it.
No idea what you said at the start or at the end, but the vehicles in the show were great. What area of the UK was this held in?
So we can improve the videos why couldn’t you understand what we said at the start and the end. The show was in Dorset
@@teyvehiclerestorations4878 Thanks for letting me know where it was. The sound level was extremely low to start with, even with my headphones turned way up when you were talking. Also, to my Canadian ears the narrator's accent makes it very difficult to understand. Closed captioning was confused by it too, and did not give intelligible words. Some simple white captions under the picture, like "Armour and Embarkation Rally, Dorset England" would have really helped. Captions of the vehicle types would be useful too. With the amphib vehicle in the water I think it may have been a DUKW but with no side or front pic, how would we know? Thanks.
@@jeffdayman8183ok thank you for letting us know.
Dorset. , Dorchester/Weymouth area.
looks like it was huge fun. I've been watching this event from afar for a long time and would love to see it in person some time. So many familiar faces there too!
Was it you guys I saw in Weymouth?
Yes it was , we had chips on the front such an amazing experience and weekend we loved it
@@teyvehiclerestorations4878 nice i took about 90 photos
Fantastic 👍
Gorgeous!
I had to turn the sound right up at the beginning.
Sorry the mic was playing up today hopefully we have fixed it now for the next video
Now that's what I call a nice sound
Great truck, horrible music
One of my favorite vehicles... Shame this example doesn't have the winch on the front...
Good luck with the restoration of such a iconic tank.
Please keep the great videos coming 🙏
That's the plan!
Love what you do and love what Tey Vehicle Restorations is doing. Keep them coming!
Thanks, will do!
Thank you for your great videos. 👍
Australian armor called they want their name back!
Is it just me..or is the sound quality really bad?
Nice m16 quad .50 anti aircraft 1/2 track
an M-16 AA halftrack
Close but not quite
@@teyvehiclerestorations4878 ok maybe next time lol
Hoy mate! show me your knicker doodles.
I may have never watched this video except for that initial image, the rear end of a Hetzer. As a former 38T Jagdpanzer owner., you are missing the Luftschieber. (Sliding cover for the radiator exhaust.)
very nice video getting to see inside. Tanker helmet is a nice touch but also many tank commanders wore a steel helmet
HOORAY! so happy to see you back for a new year Laura! The Morris is looking good what a transformation so far. Keep it up and thanks
Thank you so much Tom .
Looking good. You should have a Morris repro steering wheel centre on the way to you 😉
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year !🎄🎄🎅🎅
37mm cannon ?
where is the 81mm mortar located? on the top?
At :31 you're in the TC's position, and your camera person is in the loader's spot. Otherwise, nice job! Some differences between US and British crews in jobs and fire commands, but again, well done.
Thank you for the feedback ❤ we got are words a little muddled up about what position we were in. Very true about the fire orders every crew was different aswell
No problem, just clarifying for newer 'tank fans'. Looks like a nice, fairly complete 'A2.@@teyvehiclerestorations4878
Really enjoying this series - thanks for doing these videos 😊
Thank you very much very much appreciated
To "co-driver was, as shown on FURY, the new guy in the crew, and would end up doing a lot of the "go-fer" work of maintaining the M4.
with a non issued brolli installed
Haha very true
Love it
Looks very scary from the front!
Let's take a look around...once the smoke has cleared!
The C13 parts look great! Nice to see them. Cheers!
happy to see you back. can't wait to see what more gets done on the chevy.
