We were in Sedona in late Sept 2022. Great area. A highlight for us was visiting the Palatki Heritage site. Based upon your GPS coordinates, it looks like you were very close. Nice private tour from the Rangers who live onsite in their RV's but the dirt roads to get up there are scary (would totally avoid if there has been rain). We aren't RVers but saw lots of them camping along the dirt roads. Sedona has breathtaking scenery and hiking but the economic contrasts are also dramatic; 10 million house within view site of people living in their RV/vans.
As usual, I enjoyed your update, with ideas of where to travel. I’m hopeful that old man C will give you a break, a long break. Enjoy, continued safe travels and give Marvy my regards.
Hi Pat, I think you are talking about the Stowaway? I saw one when I was hanging out with Bob Wells one day near my camp. He had one on his old van. Pretty cool. I just needed one quickly and this one worked, but I really do like that swing out idea!
Sedona is beautiful. I enjoyed my time there on my healing journey. I would have enjoyed it even more as a nomad rather than a tourist, so I look forward to revisiting the area in that capacity. I wasn't able to do that when I was so sick, so I do appreciate the hotels in town. I did really like walking through the main market area. I even got my aura fluffed with a feather by a healing woman there in one shop. Lol. It's a nice experience. This is coming from someone who avoids crowds at all costs. I just walked through quickly and stopped only at the shops that called to me.
Marvy is more likely to spend time in shops than I would. When we are in places like Flagstaff... I usually park and teach classes while she wanders about town. I will usually only venture onto the streets if we decide to eat somewhere. So do you have a future travel date red-lettered into your calendar?
Hello oh gosh we have been to the USA and Canada for three months in 1982 but never got to the desert. Free camping here in Australia is fairly similar and yes people do run generators but we figure it is a freedom camp and as long as they pick up their rubbish, take the toilet to town to empty, all is good. Hope you have a wonderful stay and your skin cancer removals heal quickly. Sending love and hugs from your Aussie nomad friends 🤗❤️

Yep and to think, years ago I used to spend thousands of dollars landscaping my yard. Now we just change our yard by driving to another place to camp!
I plan on snowbirding next year and will buy StarLink for internet as I work from
Home. So excited!

Thanks Janice! Marvy reads all the comments too, so she says hello!
Appreciate the update Rob, glad you and Marvy are doing well.... Hang in there, hope Jackson is doing well also :-)
Thanks Mark!
Hey, good to see a video.....the cargo rack is awesome, I went with one that swings out to passenger side. Love having more room inside my van!

Yep, stowaway is what I have from watching Bob's RUclips video about it. I got mine with the cargo rack.
