I love camping in Quartzsite. I found a spot with beautiful mountain views great sunsets and sunrises and almost no one around. Minutes from amenities. Everything you need is right here for camping. Very convenient
Great review with pictures! Thank you
Nice capture! Great vibes. Thank you.
😃 😊
great camping tips thank you
Great video, planning on getting out there next week
Thanks for this video! Great information!
You're welcome! 🎉
Excellent video, I wish I had seen it sooner. We are taking an RV trip from Louisiana that way and we reserved at RV campgrounds. Had I known there are so many places to boondock we may have picked some of these beautiful locations. Thanks, next time! ;)
Have an awesome trip! 🚌
Going to be living in my micro camper full time, and plan to winter out in Arizona for sure. Grew up in the north, but my rig is not outfitted for snowy roads just yet.
Enjoy your new adventure! 🛣 - Liz
We boondocked N of Flagstaff years ago and loved it! These all look like amazing spots - great video showing Arizona’s diversity!
Our pleasure! 🌅
I really appreciate you letting me know about the one near Tombstone. I like that area quite a bit.
Great video. We stayed at Empire Ranch and checked out Dragoon mountains. We'll be back.
Thanks for all of the many videos that you've made that were informative and inspirational to me Seth & Drea (I hope I spelled that right).
Glad to hear they've been helpful. Seth is awesome! 🥇
Good
Thanks for all the great reviews of amazing places.
Sure thing! 🌿
Oh my gosh, this channel is fantastic. Thanks so much for the great information!
😊
Amazing work y'all! Cieneguita is magical I think you even used one of my pics!!
Thank you! If you left a review photo for the spot on Campendium - then that could be it! 📸
Great reviews! Can't wait to get our trailer out to Arizona!!
Happy camping out in Arizona! 🌵
Arizona is a big State, so bring plenty of gas money to reach the BLM areas.
Great video, THANKS
You are welcome. Happy camping!
Just subscribed… great video
Thanks for valuable excellent information. 👍👍.
You're welcome! ❤️
Heading for Arizona in June so will definitely take advantage of this information! Great job as usual!
Thanks Joyce, have fun!
Good luck with our heat in June!
@@usmcpound Thanks for the warning but we're running away from Palm Desert and heading to northern Arizona!
@@joycemarino9800 Even then, direct sunlight is killer here. Definitely recommend to bring an easy up or tarp of some sort for shade 🥵
@@nickmorzella8381 Just passing through on our way to the Ruby Mountains in northern Nevada and then north to Idaho Sawtooths, and up to the Northern Cascades until October or when the temps are less than 100! lol
Def gonna have to check out AZ!!!
Hope you love it! 🌵
Read my mind! I was thinking about where to camp in AZ and then this popped up!!
We hope you find an amazing spot! 🌵
Oh! And another fun fact, at 6:19 that is MY CAMPER, MY CAMP CHAIRS, and MY CAMPFIRE!! LOL 😂 I was totally ticked to see our picture featured here! We sold that camper and now building Ram Promaster camper van, can't wait to finish the build so we can find more amazing free campsites!! 🥰
Thanks for leaving a great photo and review - glad we could feature it! - Liz
This app is so useful
Thanks for being a part of the Campendium community! 🥰 - Liz
I love grassland or grasslands in az Arizona
Big fans of grasslands ourselves 💚
forest road 687 is actually the Cochise stronghold. You can find obsidian arrowheads but it is illegal to take them.
Mogollon Rim roads all still closed as of yesterday. We planned to head up there from Benson but had to divert to near Sedona. I assume it's still snowed in up there but who knows.
Spent three days at Indian Bread Rocks, had a good time there last week.
Glad you found Indian Rocks! 🪨
Yes it snowed last night all melted today though. Look for things to open say memorial weekend or shortly before.
Do you need a permit for any of these camp grounds ? Specifically the ones closest to the Grand Canyon?
While none of the campsites near the Grand Canyon mentioned in this video are currently known to require a permit, it is always best practice to check directly with the forest service/managing body to confirm this before arrival. Contact info and known permit status are noted on the Campendium review pages (linked above!) for each spot.
Leaving Pagosa springs Colorado heading to 4 four corners
Enjoy! - Liz
Come stay at Peaks Valley Preserve, and see all Cochise has to offer!
Do be sure to fill out the 'Add a Campsite' form over at www.campendium.com so we can create a review page for the sites you've got to offer! ✍️ -Liz
well done kiddo

No videos - but you can see more free places to camp in AZ here: www.campendium.com/arizona/free-camping/map

Hi Maria, click SHOW MORE in the description above! 🙂
It would be great with gps coordinates
Hey Marlin! You can find all of the GPS coordinates on the Campendium Review pages for these spots - linked above! 🗺 -Liz
Any spots near sedona?
Head over to www.campendium.com and search for 'Sedona', then filter by 'free' to begin your search for a great free campsite that can fit your camping style!
You didn't mention bike camping with tents... What are the things you need to know about camping in this landscape in a tent. SNAKES..? yikes..! Places to find drinking water..? I want to tour Arizona on my Solar powered Etrike/trailer. What should i prepare for or be aware of..? thanks Robb PDX
That sounds like an awesome adventure! 🚲 Campendium focuses on RV/vehicle based camping. Hope you find some useful info, however!

first place> bring heavy duty dust masks stayed the night and left so dirty my dog could hardly breath and i cut up a shirt for a dust mask
Really need to start talking about places for Senior Citizens what is friendly to a travel trailer and what's not
Hey Gary, Recommend continuing your research for campsites that meet your personal needs over on www.campendium.com 🛻
I am going up to Northern Arizona this summer to live in a campsite for as long as I can!!! Tired of living in the city and city noise!!!
Can u camp for free still in Flagstaff
Hi Joseph, yes there is still free camping in Flagstaff, just remember not to overstay and leave no trace! www.campendium.com/arizona/flagstaff#price-range=0-0
Due to the large number of full time campers over staying and leaving trash near Flagstaff, a lot of areas closest to town that were open are now posted to create a buffer zone between city and forest service property.
@@rayfriend7450 Hi Ray - We talked to some rangers about the NFS closures in Arizona, here is some more info: www.campendium.com/camping/nfs-closures-arizona/
All i have is a tent and a sleeping bag. Can i go and stay there without a vehicle
I tent camp.
Don't go to Peoria if you want to squat for free! The Arizona Land Trust requires a permit good for a total of 14days per calendar year!! No more exceptions the PD is all over it.
Absolutely! With a permit, Arizona Trust Land is an awesome place to camp! - Liz
should a retired camping couple carry a gun for protection ???
Hi Ed - that's a personal decision. Campendium's co-founders have been camping full-time for over 10 years without a gun and have never had a need for one. If you do decide to cary a gun, laws vary by state, so be sure to do your research!
You can’t live in the forest here. Two years later, y’all came here during covid and trashed our wiild places and camp grounds. Burned the picnic tables and left your broken tents and chairs, dirty diapers, you name it. Not to mention cleaning out our grocery stores and not wearing masks while bringing your entire family in to shop. Please don’t feel the need to advertise our home for your pleasure.
You lost me when you said "veesta's".
Thanks for the feedback. Happy camping! - Liz
BLM and the state could put in pay showers
