yes, the best thing is I can't understand what they're saying and maybe that's better because I can just get into the vibe without being influenced what to imagine :) well except for the romanian songs because I am romanian :))
80's Timpuri Noi but it's hard to find recordings, the only ones I found I put them in this compilation. In Romania we mostly had progressive rock and heavy metal at the time and not post punk. An artist which was kinda like Viktor Tsoi as in wake people up and talk about real shit was Valeriu Sterian but he sang folk rock so if you're into that you can check his big discography, similarly to Tsoi he composed many songs.@@zpwv
thanks, unfotunately there aren't many recordings with them from that time period, later in the 90's they changed their style but it's still good music.
Big thumbs up. I've been missing your conspiracy videos, video game videos, and your musical content (wether it's yours or cool European flavor from other bands, as in this video). This hits the spot.
Westerner here, fell in love with this music after a long trip across Czechia. I heard this type of music in bars across Brno, Pilsen and Prague. Once I’m able to I hope to venture further east and explore more :)
Very nice compilation. Of course, almost all the russian songs here are familiar to me, but it was interesting to listen to the other eastern european countries tracks. They are cool, they have the same spirit and vibe as russian songs! I wonder if Romanian alternative bands of the 80s are still popular in your country as, for instance, Kino or Picnic in Russia? Btw, you wrote in the descriere of the video that you don't understand the language so if you wish I can translate the lyrics of russian tracks for you :))
it's more "magical" somehow to not understand the lyrics but thank you! too many songs to translate :)) yes the old bands are popular but not so much with the new generation which is understandable but 90's and early 2000's kids grew up with old bands, I was 17 in 2007 so I would still listen with my alternative rocker friends to all the old 80's bands
Cheers from Serbia brother, great mix, listening this while driving is amazing 👌
Not an eastern european, but i'm into 80s new wave and i adore eastern european new wave, post punk bands. Nice one.

I'm here after Habs drafted Demidov always loved Eastern bloc styled music but it sounds even better these days, thanks Celine!
I can already tell this is going to be playing a lot in my apartment & car this winter. Thanks for this!
I just have this in the background when playing feels like Russian Fallout
It always starts with a Kino.
You introduced to Timpuri Noi and while I'm an American I love their alt rock vibe, and their message, thanks a lot.

Thanks for this badass music, rebel against the babylon system! Cheers bro from across the sea 🍻

I love the backstory of why you chose these bands specifically bro. Great mix!
Excellent brother. Listening now.
Tsoi is my favorite
Awesome mix, dude!

@@GamesExposed :)) I understand you. For me, music and atmosphere always come first in songs, and words and lyrics are not so important
