There are many games around, but Stalker... it is just something different. No game other than Stalker made me sink into the story so much that I literally felt as I was there myself. Also, environement and basically just the feeling of being in the zone is just something that cannot be explained by words, you just have to feel it by playing the game yourself, and once you have played it for the first time, trust me, the zone will take you and you will, no matter how many times you decide to stoo playing it, just always somehow return to it. Just started playing Stalker Anomaly with no mods or reshades. After growing up on Fallout, I cant believe I missed out on this game. I have probably 30 hours or so in the last week. I am fully hooked. Stay safe out there everyone!

Not trying to be pretentious, but the term clip actually is not interchangeable with magazine. Clips are what you put into the bolt action rifles like the mosin, a thin piece of metal to hold the ends of the rounds. Magazines are containers that house the whole round. Sorry if i sound like a know it all

AKS-74u's are fed by magazine, yet can accept a clip into the magazine for faster loading. You clearly knew what I was talking about, why go on about it? Sure, both are different, but at the same time, the word "bullet button" and "high capacity magazine" exist.

The poor bastard looked done for, but he slowly came back to life...just not as the Ivan I used to know. I put one in his head, I know he wouldn't want to continue as what he became. I buried him even and his cherished rifle. Now.....let me lay my weary head down on this old shitty mattress. Ahhh.... (love both games btw, but STALKER takes the cake for survival in radiated wasteland for me)

Waiting for stalker 2 patiently. Played Stalker for the first time like 9 years ago. I was blessed at first sight. Even though it was really hard at a smol stalker age the game sucked me into its weird and creepy but cozy feeling. I will drink vodka and blast this when stalker 2 comes out. And it I need to cure my radiation I'll drink in game and real life for the real stalker experience. Also playing ironman ofc. This game for me is 3am in Prague on a rainy night on a shitty laptop.. Man I really love this game

you can't go wrong with STALKER especially with some mods you can play with better graphics shadow of chernobyl for example! This music is from the radio from stalker anomaly mod which is another fantastic experience, it's actually a collection of some of the best mods put together in one pack, there is no story in it but it's still great to wonder around and feel that stalker vibe! so you can try it after playing the stories! but I am not a purist you can also try anomaly mod straight away :)) that's what I did actually but then I wanted to do the story thing as well so I installed shadow of chernobyl which I have not finished yet but I'm like half way in it!

only the Metro series are comparable to the STALKER series to be honest. Both games are extreme masterpieces that no other post-apocalyptic themed game can able to achieve as of right now.

I was at the public library just now for 5 hours playing stalker escape from pripyat. Im a newbie to these more hardcore stalker fangame-mods, and after spending two days before trying to 1. Install the game, then 2. Fixing the performance issues since the library computers use cheap hardware.. I was a mercenary in pripyat, i had just spawned out of the hideout. i went to some old building that had zombies and it seemed fine enough til monolith started coming and i took them out one by one all tactical. After i finished taking parts off their guns i went to the jupiter underground but i couldnt stop the radiation from killing me so i decided to just leave while i still had enough water and cigarettes. I walked out of the hellish underground and the graphics werent that great, but god-damn, it felt so real. It felt like i had just crawled out of hell and here i was at the surface of pripyat and it was broad daylight. I saw stalkers talking about how beautiful the sunshine was on the pda channels. mind you i still knew damn well i was at the public library, i wasnt in a dark room to help increase immersion, i had friends beside me playing their games too. And every time i looked at the screen, it felt like i was really there in the chernobyl exclusion zone, in the abandoned city of pripyat, walking about, surviving. It was like nothing i'd ever seen from any piece of fiction or media.... Ever.
So i was playing Stalker Anomaly, walking trought the zone, I guess is Scientist base at yanov... Anyways , so I was listen the radio when this music " Линда - Северный ветер" started, land I thought, well why why not relax for a while isn't? is 10 pm, , lets take a rest... And was one of the most wonderful experiences what I have with this mod, like take a seat with the brothers, at campfire, eat something, take some water before sleeps , listen some good music ... And yes, Is my frist time playing Stalker Anomaly and well, until now I still loving this mod, is kinda hard, yeeees!! And that's I like it! After finish my gameplay, I stop here lol, I mean, i'll research for the musics of the radio, and here I am :) Spassiba bratan for upload this video, and for your effort to make a nice content like this! Линда - Северный ветер is a very beautiful song and I agree with everything else that you said, I understand what you say brat! yes the difficult nature of stalker is what makes it special and the few moments of peace at the campfire with the radio are very comforting, even when we quit the game we still like to research stuff about the game! STALKER is one of the only games where having glitches/designing mistakes make you love the game even more and makes the game much more atmospheric. Waiting for stalker 2 patiently. Played Stalker for the first time like 9 years ago. I was blessed at first sight. Even though it was really hard at a smol stalker age the game sucked me into its weird and creepy but cozy feeling. I will drink vodka and blast this when stalker 2 comes out. And it I need to cure my radiation I'll drink in game and real life for the real stalker experience. Also playing ironman ofc. This game for me is 3am in Prague on a rainy night on a shitty laptop..

I pretty much listened to this for 6 months straight while working a night shift. It helped me survive that hell.
After playing Metro Exodus i decided to try the STALKER series especially seeing the trailer for the upcoming one. So I started the series.
you can't go wrong with STALKER especially with some mods you can play with better graphics shadow of chernobyl for example! This music is from the radio from stalker anomaly mod which is another fantastic experience, it's actually a collection of some of the best mods put together in one pack, there is no story in it but it's still great to wonder around and feel that stalker vibe! so you can try it after playing the stories! but I am not a purist you can also try anomaly mod straight away :)) that's what I did actually but then I wanted to do the story thing as well so I installed shadow of chernobyl which I have not finished yet but I'm like half way in it!
@@GamesExposed Just out of curiosity, do you play Escape from Tarkov? This game slightly has some hits of that and I also heard that apparently the game was partly inspired by STALKER.
@@iamsandwichman4396 I didn't play it myself but I have friends who do, yes of course you could say it's inspired by stalker when it comes to how it looks, the inventory system and the careful tactical gameplay , I'm just waiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 at the moment and hopefully it will be great!

only the Metro series are comparable to the STALKER series to be honest. Both games are extreme masterpieces that no other post-apocalyptic themed game can able to achieve as of right now.

I was at the public library just now for 5 hours playing stalker escape from pripyat. Im a newbie to these more hardcore stalker fangame-mods, and after spending two days before trying to 1. Install the game, then 2. Fixing the performance issues since the library computers use cheap hardware..
I was a mercenary in pripyat, i had just spawned out of the hideout. i went to some old building that had zombies and it seemed fine enough til monolith started coming and i took them out one by one all tactical. After i finished taking parts off their guns i went to the jupiter underground but i couldnt stop the radiation from killing me so i decided to just leave while i still had enough water and cigarettes. I walked out of the hellish underground and the graphics werent that great, but god-damn, it felt so real. It felt like i had just crawled out of hell and here i was at the surface of pripyat and it was broad daylight. I saw stalkers talking about how beautiful the sunshine was on the pda channels. mind you i still knew damn well i was at the public library, i wasnt in a dark room to help increase immersion, i had friends beside me playing their games too. And every time i looked at the screen, it felt like i was really there in the chernobyl exclusion zone, in the abandoned city of pripyat, walking about, surviving. It was like nothing i'd ever seen from any piece of fiction or media.... Ever.

So i was playing Stalker Anomaly, walking trought the zone, I guess is Scientist base at yanov... Anyways , so I was listen the radio when this music " Линда - Северный ветер" started, land I thought, well why why not relax for a while isn't? is 10 pm, , lets take a rest... And was one of the most wonderful experiences what I have with this mod, like take a seat with the brothers, at campfire, eat something, take some water before sleeps , listen some good music ... And yes, Is my frist time playing Stalker Anomaly and well, until now I still loving this mod, is kinda hard, yeeees!! And that's I like it! After finish my gameplay, I stop here lol, I mean, i'll research for the musics of the radio, and here I am :) Spassiba bratan for upload this video, and for your effort to make a nice content like this!

Линда - Северный ветер is a very beautiful song and I agree with everything else that you said, I understand what you say brat! yes the difficult nature of stalker is what makes it special and the few moments of peace at the campfire with the radio are very comforting, even when we quit the game we still like to research stuff about the game! STALKER is one of the only games where having glitches/designing mistakes make you love the game even more and makes the game much more atmospheric.
