I looove iceland! We went late summer of 2019 and hiked/ drove all over the place. You’re so lucky to explore it in a camper van. I’m so inspired to go again now.
We’ve been here for about 6 days and it’s such an incredible place! 😊 Can’t wait to share more next week! It’s been really cool because there are very few people here at this time of year and we’ve had amazing weather.

I always want to pack my kitty when we go away too. I put the suitcase out in the bed and he jumps in and takes a nap everytime 😂 looks like an awesome trip so far but not jealous of the cold temps, 54 degrees on Long Island today

We just did it over the past two weeks. So mid December! It does usually get pretty stormy at this time but it was amazing!

Okay! I went back through chronologically and watched it again. Love the opening of the Northern Lights, beautiful and captivating. At 3:50 when you talk about the sponsor you’re hidden in the shadows so it’s a little hard to focus and be interested. I find it captures my attention more when it’s the focus of the scene like when Kara from Kara and Nate pitches AG1. Also the light glowing over the top of your head on and off is very distracting. At 4:22 when you show Netflix on the screen it’s again hard to keep interest because I feel like I’m watching someone’s home video from an angle, I prefer it to be screen recordings so I can see the whole computer and the quality is way higher. Same comment at 4:28 when you show it connecting to the VPN, I would love for it to be a screen recording that is overlayed on the video like a tutorial. Love the Gilmore Girls detail - it’s fun and quirky and shows y’all’s personality which I’ve followed and loved for so many years on Instagram. Loved the screen recording at 5:10 - I felt like it have a real example of how to navigate the website and would encourage me to use the service because I have will have confidence going to the website and looking for that screen. Love the ladies content. Love seeing Scarlett at 6:08 and her personality come through even though she’s doing a task she doesn’t like. Shows authenticity and feels like you’re hanging out with your friend. When you’re holding the camera at 6:15 it’s very wobbly, would prefer a gimble? or holding the camera more square, or using a tripod. Gives a little vertigo. Angle at 6:34 is a little unflattering haha, would move it up a little. Love the shot of getting your tickets around 9:08 and then Scarlett waiting for the train. I do like the wide angle shot around 11:01 but feel like you guys are just a little too small in the frame and it’s hard to focus on you again. Maybe from just below your feet to top of Christmas tree if there is a similar shot in the future? I really like the simple, human, shared experience shot of you guys getting what I think is coffee. It slows the pace of the video down for a nice pause for an appreciated hot treat after a long day of travel. Very relatable and calming. Would like the “Iceland” text to just be a little bit larger in the next scene. I’m watching it on a 65” tv and it is a little small although I’m sure the intent was to not detract from the background too much. Love the shot at 13:26 - gives an update on where you are, a little bit of you, a little bit of scenery, and I enjoy the low music in the background (wish Scarlett was in the shot too tho)! Love you guys so much, and we’re so excited for the longer form content. I’ve been watching you on Instagram for so long. We are also starting our van build in January after 5 years of planning and saving so feels very fun to be in the same phase of life!

Do I understand that you have two vans rather than one?
No we rented a van in Iceland. Our van is the one in the beginning of the video that we live in.
Just curious… haven’t been with you long…What made you choose Iceland?
A few things. It’s a fairly small country and easy to explore in a van. It also isn’t a long flight and Scarlet gets very motion sick on flights so that was a big factor. Iceland also is not very busy in the winter and we wanted to go somewhere cold since we’re planning to spend most of the winter this year in Mexico!

I thought I’d let you know: I would subscribe to your patreon but I won’t build a van, so I don’t. Perhaps you could share your tips on growing a channel, editing, shots and tips on camera and gear. I thought you may find it useful and I absolutely love your channel. Now writing this makes me think I could support anyways… nevermind 🫠🫣
