Are we really comparing anybody to this guy? This 1990 version of MJ would average about 42 points in today`s game. There is nobody right now quicker than MJ back then.

Well after the rules changes in 2006, Phil Jackson said MJ would average 45 with the 2006 rules. With the new rules (with the 2014 "protect the shooter"), I think he definitely averages 50.

I don't think he'd put up 50+ nightly, for a whole host of reasons, but in today's league I'd peg him somewhere between 44.0 and 46 ppg
