Superteams dominated way before Kobe and Shaq's Lakers. The 80s Celtics had Bird, McHale, Parrish, Ainge, Dennis Johnson, Bill Walton. The 80s Lakers had Magic, Kareem, James Worthy, Byron Scott. 60's Celtics had Bill Russell, Sam Jones, Bob Cousy, John Havlicek. Ridiculous teams, insane amount of All-Star and Hall of Fame talent going back to the old days.

Nah! This game aint that close at all. 39 yr old MJ is just outmatched againts 24 yr old Kob. Mike was playin SF while Kob V Rip. I remember this Kobe said after the game it's fun gcoming back from 20 and win. Mike was letting Rip do the running this season. Kobe just decided to turn it on in the 4th and Mike and Wiz are done.

Kobe played teams in the playoffs that had winning records, not once had he faced a team with a losing regular season record, Kobe was surrounded by talent earlier in his career, Mike didn't have that luxury, he had a lack of help, which is why Kobe won earlier in his career, Mike the opposite.
