Sometimes Gaz you've just got to call it..could feel Bec's pain, savage headache and searing heat not a good combo! Loving the Rootdown, the full suss hasn't had a look-in😀👌🏻

Think you made the right call dropping altitude when you did. If someone as fit as Bec is struggling there is definitely something wrong.😢

    That was painful to watch
My heart out to Bec as virtually no out of towners drink /bring enough water (1 gallon a day, yes 1 gallon a day in summer)
    Couple things..
    Prescott is “ Press-skitt”
    Jerome is 5099 ft.
I always recommend getting local trail info, ride with a local or at best hire a guide. (You could have been swimming at the creek in less than an hour)
Certainly most trail apps/information come from those whom blow into town with a keyboard, GoPro and an opinion.
I hope you return for proper redemption and a more positive experience.
And oh, I’d prefer to be baked too if I had to work at that shop-I recommend the Sedona Bike & Bean they have bikes you’d not hate and set them up proper
