Funny that you mentioned Hawaii because that’s exactly where I will take this case (in blue).
Note that there’s a 1st gen version of this case but it only accommodates phones with left-sided volume buttons like the iPhones and Samsung ones.

How does the volume button work as a shutter im confused. Do I have to change settings.

I have an iPhone 11 and I already put it inside the case. What’s the purpose for the shutter button because I can press photo or video through the plastic screen?

I was wondering how the underwater photography went with this Shellbox. Can you actually use the settings on your phone camera or is it just one setting that you put on above the water. With a drybag you cannot use the touch screen and I think it will be the same with this ShellBox. Please let us know in a follow up review

I’ve been looking at a lot of reviews and the touch scree works but it’s not as sensitive and once your fingers wrinkle up in the water it works even less. But on The third generation shell box case there’s a remote that allows more options like zoom in and out etc

I use an iPhone 12 Pro Max. All versions of the iPhone 13 will work with the is case.

You need to use the plastic key that comes with it and insert it under each latch.

have bought two of these cases all the hinges have sezed and no longer work as they react to salt water , i have contacted seller and manufacture and both won't help ! so don't buy

It's like anything though that goes in the sea u gotta maintain it rinse it in fresh water when u get home keep the moving parts lubricated etc
