  • Hello everyone! Back again with something a bit different! A crochet plant hanger! Personally I love both plants and crochet so this was perfect for me! Haha. I thought it was a great alternative to the macrame plant hangers out there! Which I also enjoy making, but the fancy ones take a lot longer to make than this! This project is really quick and really simple! Perfect for beginners and pros! I had a great deal of fun coming up with this pattern and I really hope you enjoy making it as much as I did! Tag me on instagram to let me see your creations too!
    I hope you're all staying safe and remember to practice social distancing and wash your hands!
    Thanks so much again for watching!
    Please Like, Subscribe and leave a Comment to let me know you want more!
    I have more tutorials in the works, so make sure you check back soon!
    If you have any questions please leave a comment and I will do my best to get back to you! (If comments are disabled please head over to my instagram or my blog to message me there!)
    Just as a side note I work with American terminology when I crochet, so do keep that in mind!
    This is a pattern I created myself so please do credit me where due! Do not sell on the pattern.
    You will need :
    Scissors
    Needle
    Crochet hook
    Stitch markers
    Yarn - Yarn
    Wooden Ring
    Bead or beads of your choosing
    Smaller needle that will go through your beads

    I've been following your tutorial for the last few days, and have just completed my first plant hanger! I made it in lemon yellow for my daughter who is recovering from surgery. She loves it and so do I. Thank you!

    I am having a hard time figuring out the steps to join all 4 straps once you get to the end of the 4th strap. Basically the directions from 11:18 to the end of the wooden ring I am lost. How do you connect the other 2 straps while leaving that amount of room to use for the wooden ring? Not sure if my question makes since but it was hard to follow since it was out of the frame.

    Somehow I ended up with only 3 corners instead of 4, but I actually reallly liked it with only three corners so it turned out super awesome! I just kind of went with it after I saw it was 3 instead of 4 lol.
    Thanks for the video!

    Hello. Are the acrylic yarns okay to wet when watering the pot plants. Pkease day yes cause I will crochet hanging crochet pot holders and pot plant covers for a change. Thank you. Love the colour and the design👍

      I’m not sure but I recommend putting a small plate underneath the pot (like a catcher, to catch the water) and then hanging them together

    Loved this pattern and was super easy to follow, I just made two for my plants. I see in the description you talk about not selling the pattern on (which makes sense) but are we allowed to sell the plant hanger itself?

      Really glad you liked the pattern! And of course you can sell the hanger itself! It’s only the pattern that can’t be sold! (:

    What size beads and where do you get it
    I wish you could put photos inbetween so we see how things should look especially on the straps and put cm measurements on how tall to knit roughly

  • @maryjanewillis3530
    @maryjanewillis3530 Год назад

    I almost done with and found out I messed up ugh.. one side in-between the corner and the middle part you skip is shorter than the rest but it looks so good I am kind of new to crochet and it's pretty easy I just don't know what I did wrong

    • @maryjanewillis3530
      @maryjanewillis3530 Год назад

      I did have 22 DC on the sides so it was difficult to find the middle ig once tou start making the sides should it be odd or even lol I think a written pattern would work work I mostly did this by watching and then I'd come back to your video to see what's next

    Tried following this pattern but the writing is not clear anymore and I am stuck on raw 5 where we skip and form a triangle. Is it possible for someone to forward me the pattern or for the creator to type it out under the description. Please 🙏🏿

      You can use the app Shizam to find out what song is playing for just about anything you hear. This is Long Chín Ngón by Ngoc Long.

    @Molly is it ok for me to use this pattern in a RUclips video on my channel if I link your pattern tutorial in the description? I want to make this for a potted plant video I’m working on.

    I find it difficult when tutorials skip steps visually and put them in writing that you barely have time to read.

    • @MollyDreamer
      @MollyDreamer  2 года назад +1

      The steps are written so that you can pause the video and complete them before moving forward 😊 If I had completed the entire thing without skipping through parts the video would be over an hour long. It makes editing it a lot more time consuming and I get more errors uploading longer videos. But I understand the frustration, thank you. 😊

    Your lighting is letting you down. And the instructions are too small to read. Nice pattern but can’t watch it.

    • @MollyDreamer
      @MollyDreamer  2 года назад +1

      My lighting is natural daylight, I don’t have an expensive camera set up. I stand by a window hunched over a camera. So no the lighting isn’t great. Thanks for the comment, I’ll take it into consideration for next time. 🙂👍
