    This was such a AMAZING crochet video probably the best I’ve seen. So detailed not too cut out just perfect to follow. Also thank you SOOOOOOOO MUCH for doing this tutorial with a LIGHT yarn and a bright good hook so it was easy to see and follow as well. Just perfect! I made one and it’s so cute thanks for making this video

      Thank you SOOO much! I try to make these tutorials as easy to follow as possible and bright yarn definitely helps with that :)

    Beautiful pattern and great video, thank you. So easily customizable for size as well.
    One suggestion if anyone is interested:
    Instead of tying off and starting a new chain for each strap..... I slip stitched back up the chain to the ring, then slipped into it and started the next chain down. It not only prevents tying off so much, it also strengthens the strap and looks quite pretty. Just be careful not to get it twisted as you add the other 3 straps!

    To make it a bit bigger i just added another row of puffs with chain 5 in between that time, then carried on chain 5 for all the mesh. Great video thanks x

      Did this work when you made it bigger? I have a 6 inch pot i want to make this for but I keep having to start over when I add more rounds with the puff stitch 😢🥺
      Any suggestions?

      @@jessicanorsworthy2187 I wonder if it is the yarn you are using? It did work for me but I think I used paintbox cotton aran or cotton chunky whereas this vid looks like the yarn is more substantial. A cotton type yarn is easier to mold around the pot. Hope this helps, I can hardly remember making it but am going to make another one soon!

    I really enjoyed your video, your style and your instructions. It was easy to follow and understand. Of course my end product does not look as good as yours but I still really like it - especially the bottom. I used a thick macrame cord and it looks so puffy and clean. Hope to find more tutorials by you. Thank you !

      I'm so glad you found the video useful! :) a thick macrame cord would look so nice with this pattern, good choice!

    I desperately needed a faux-macrame pattern for a wayward ivy. Thank you.
    My only unsolicited advice would be a ch2 dc instead of the ch4, sl into sc, sc into loop.

    I love this. I am going to make this 1. I also would like to make it shorter. No longer than 20 inches on finished holder. Would you tell me how to do that? I am a Newbie. Thanks for making the video!

      Yes! The finished product will be smaller though so just keep that in mind :)

    How many inches is the diameter of the bottom?

    • @brittanyalicecrochet
      @brittanyalicecrochet  4 года назад +3

      I don't have the prototype anymore unfortunately, but I measured the bottom of the plant holder I used in the thumbnail of this video and it's about 3.5" in diameter. So I'd say that's about what the bottom diameter of those puff stitches are, if not just slightly larger :)
