This is a great pattern! Thank you for sharing it. However, it would've been very helpful if you had stuck with the larger pot size to show everyone how to continually make the star larger with a couple extra rounds. Also, actually showing where you put the slip stitch to end the round makes it easier for newbies to follow. Since you didn't do these things, those that are new to crochet are stuck with making the exact size you made (since you didn't show them how to enlarge it) and they'll have to guess where you put the slip stitch at the end of each round. Those that are more experienced know how to end a round, but would still have to figure out (based on your verbal explanation) how to enlarge the pattern for a larger pot. I had to add 2 rounds beyond what you showed to make it the right size for the pot I'm using. If I was new to crochet, I wouldn't have been able to follow this tutorial very easily to do that. Just throwing that out there.
I'm glad you have a video tutorial on this pattern. I couldn't quite understand the written pattern for the hanger part(that's just me. I pick things up faster visually.) Love the pattern though! Thanks for sharing 😊 🥰
My laptop has no sound. Is there any way I can get a printed version of this plant hanger? It is a very lovely pattern and I am looking for one that I can put my spider plant and English Ivy in. When I saw this pattern I knew it is the one I want.
It does say how to make it as big as you need, it explains that the pattern is indefinite and you continue this way until it is as big as you need it. You just repeat the row that skips two stitches (row 4 I think?) until it is as big as you need it to be, then do one row replacing the center stitch with a SC instead of HDC. You will then be ready to build up your long hanging part with all single crochets.
Must just be you because I just made this and it was easy and beautiful. Maybe you should start with something more basic if this is beyond your level.
I made this for a friend! She found the pattern and sent it to me to make and I was more than happy to! Thank you for the easy to follow tutorial!
Beautiful

I was good until rd 3 then I had to quit. It would have been helpful to have some close up shots and slow down.

This is a really great idea. Did you try it with crochet romanian cord, I think it would look just perfect.
Love this design,I need the written directions
Hi. I would like to use the written pattern. The link in description box isn't working unfortunately.

Is there somewhere to find the pattern? All your old sites are gone. This doesn’t show how to make it as big as I need. Thanks.
ruclips.net/video/FTglZbApWrk/видео.html .... I used this video of hers.. I think it shows more rounds

Thank you for this beautiful easy tutorial. I used it for my husband's venus flytrap I got for 1 of his b-day gifts .I love it .🤩
Is it ok to use normal knitting wool for this?
I did and it looks great. I made my star 3 times bigger to fit my pot and the hangers 100 chains long for my length.
Can u use acrylic?
Looking for the written pattern?

@@Pineapples_Forever you don't know me, when you have high hopes with a crochet gift & then they come crashing down you'd be a lil upset too!
it costs your character to speak...but nothing to be quiet....
