Donna you alway inspire me....you are such a great teacher......I don’t have a green thumb I kill everything but I think I can make this for crochet plants....I live in TX and even milled a cactus....hope you stay safe....love ya!
So beautiful, well explained, no long videos, to the point, and all useful.... I have begun Crochet as a second source of income, and all projects like these, are my bread and butter!!!!
Love this! Especially since you continued the crocheting without tying off until straps were done! I’m always looking for ways to do this with patterns since I hate weaving in ends! Lol! 😂 The less I have to weave in the better! This is definitely on my list of Christmas presents for the plant lovers in my family!
Hi Donna, I just love all your videos. You have the most wonderful way of explaining and your patterns are all stunning. Not one has been a waste of time. Never stop. Love them all X Keep safe. Sandra
Rounds 1, 2, 3, and 4 are regular "double crochet" rounds that are common in crochet. Round 3 has 2 dc, 1 dc, and Round 4 has 2 dc, 1 dc, and 1 dc. If the bottom of the planter is larger than 4 rounds, the pattern needs to be increased according to regular double crochet guidelines, which basically add an additional double crochet to each round of the pattern. So after Round 4, the next round would be 2 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc around. After that it would be 2 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 dc around. Keep increasing by adding an extra 1 dc per round until it's the size of the planter. Once the bottom of the crochet equals the bottom of the planter, you can proceed to the patterns' original Round 5 and go from there without further modifications.

It's called "Natural."
👍👏🌹🍀😉 From Italy 💚
This is great! Could you use plarn as well?
Yes, feel free to use anything that is sturdy and generally water-resistant.
Wow beautiful design. Can we be friends??
would hemp cotton bakers twine work, it is 2 ply and 100 percent cotton.
As long as you get the same gauge with the stitches, any stronger material should be just fine with this.
Very nice mam ilove you so much 💖💖💖👌👌👌👌👌🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖💖

Hi do have any that are for bigger plants
The written pattern explains how to adjust for larger planter bases.
Can you please help me with making it bigger
How to measure the size for the plant holder?
That is explained starting at 3:00 in the video.
