I'm so happy covid didn't stop him from being welcomed with huge warm embraces. In better situations, he would have been swarmed with people. I hope the brother will still have a family of Muslims to take care of him. Especially in Ramadan and Eid when you really need your Muslim community. Now is a strange time converting to Islam, because most of the community centres are shut in the UK. So where do the reverts go for support? May Allah have mercy on all the new Muslims and those returning to Islam and provide them with love and support from sources all over and even unknown to the individual, ameen.

I somehow got the impression that Pakistanis were good people(will have to read her book agn to know how) then, malala, then imran khan's interviews, he led me to believe that His goodness in character is due to Islam, it piqued my interest enough to read his book, then Islamic pakistani movies, then Imran khan recommended Yunnus Emre (turkish movie). Then I downoaded the Quran read Al Fatiha and unknown to the world 💥I accepted Islam in my bedroom .and fir weeks I had a sweet secret in my heart. Stopped going to church from December 2020 last Sunday.

@@danielmitchell5814 thank you. There are some complications though. I m a woman married to a man from a cultural buddhist background but he doesn't practice Buddhism. He barely tolerated me for my Christianity. We have Christians in our community But Islam is unheard of. we are very much in love with two daughters. I've heard a believer cannot be married to a non believer. I am somehow controlling my urge for pork. And maintaining 3 salah in a day. It's hard being a Muslim. But I have a strong belief that it's the true religion. So I m struggling a bit.

Being Muslim we believe that what ever we suffer, Allah will reward us and it is test for us, may Allah reward you for controlling yourself from eating pork. I am Pakistani, as Islam was there for us from childhood,I took it lightly, but growing up, studying other major religions, I found Islam the true and best religion for man kind in which even one will questioned even if we treat our pet wrong. If you look around, its the cleanest religion, we Muslim keep ourselves neat and clean, no other religion emphasise on cleaning so much the way Islam does and same is for soul also. I had hardships, lost my mother at age 14, i was about to commit suicide, it was Islam which stopped me, because I knew if I commit suicide, I wont be able to meet my mother in here after, in 2013 father passed away, its Islam when i study it, I studied life of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, which gave me peace, because what ever happens, its in our fate and we have to accept it. Alhamdulillah. Everytime i see someone convert to islam, in their own will, not because of marriage, i feel the joy all the way through my soul. My mother was a christian before she converted to islam to get married. My grandpa from my mom’s side wanted to convert to islam when he visited my dad’s place coz he thought it all made sense, but he died before he got the chance to. In a world where people enjoy freedom so much and ignore religion, it’s amazing to see there is at least one person who is aware of the temporary world, there is no gods but Allah the Almighty and accepts islam. Sorry if i’ve said something wrong. I just can’t get the words right out of my head of how i feel.
